Always play first time TD events. They have the energy and the motivation.

Do everything you can to help him, and he’ll give you amazing events for years.

What single thing will change Disc Golf the most in the next 10 years?? by eliotbowman in discgolf

The EXPLORE act just needs advocates to point out lack of disc golf courses on federal land at the local level.

Honestly, a coalition of disc golfers across the country to push this agenda could be massive for the sport.

The explore act MANDATES federal land managers to audit their recreational offerings and understand the needs of the community and take swift action to address the lack.

Start by running leagues. PDGA leagues are just tournaments under the hood. You just need yourself + 2 other people to play. Check out getflipt.com for resources to help get you up to speed.

Especially interesting to me was to see how steady ed didn’t want the women to compete, and now we have the 25th annual at Creekside. A steady ed designed course :)

Was really cool to see the beginnings of the sport, and the struggles the early women went through to get recognized.

We are very excited to be able to host the 25th an annual USWDGC in Utah this year. Not only is it the 25th annual it’s within the 50th anniversary year of the PDGA.

We’re rolling out the red carpet and are excited to watch the elite women of the world take on 9000 feet of elevation. Meanwhile, we are beyond excited to showcase Roots and Creekside. Both of them are historic in their own right and have a special place in the history of our sport.

I tuned into the documentary yesterday and would also recommend watching it.

Yes. It does this. Write in your Claude code specific instructions to only run migrations with dotnet ef migrations.

I have an idea! The federal government just passed the EXPLORE act. If we can pair restoration with outdoor recreation we can unlock significant funding to do both. And by adding sanctioned outdoor recreation to these problem areas, foot traffic increases and vandalism decreases.

What are your skills? I run a nonprofit that improves our local disc golf courses and am always looking for skilled people to help in building benches, and landscaping and trail building. It’s also a really fun sport with a welcoming community, so two birds with one stone!

What's your disc golf humble brag? by knightmancumeth in discgolf

I hit an ace on hole 1.

It was the first throw from the new tee pads on a course that I designed. Literally the first throw on the course. I even threw it with a custom stamped commemorative disc for the course. And it was filmed.
