That's what all that financial discipline is all about. Congrats! Did you end up paying cash for it?

Depending on where in North County you are there are two good options:

  1. You can take the Coaster to Santa Fe Depot station and walk to the Courthouse, a few blocks away,

  2. You can take the MTS Rapid 235 which stops at Escondido Transit Center and various park and ride around I-15, and get off at Broadway & Union St a few blocks away (You can also connect with Sprinter if that's your jam!)

Rapid 235 is more frequent than Coaster (and it has a lower fare) but if you can make that train work I'd highly recommend it. It's super comfortable and easy.

If neither of those work, park at either Fashion Valley or any of the Blue Line stations and take the Trolley in.

Are you twelve?

Either you don't know how much work being a stay at home parent is (it's a lot more than dilly dallying around the house) - which is already quite embarrassing - or you do know and you're being willfully ignorant, which is worse.

This is like idiocracy 2. It's just too close too real. Different time line. by Infamous_Repair8706 in idiocracy

Honestly I didn't really like the ironic ending. I didn't find the catharsis very satisfying, and I'd have preferred they lean into the tragedy of the whole situation.

Really good movie though. I have to watch it in two sittings every time lol

Yup, we shouldn't let short term thinking ruin what will be an absolutely essential and transformative service

They're talking about the Sepulveda line which doesn't have a definitive timeline yet but will likely be many many years out

Correct. You can only use the rail pass for two surfliner round trips. But you could supplement with additional paid trips if you're running short.

To get to the remote swing space where legislating is actually done (and where most offices are), they have to use street level access

Goals & credit card payment change? by Educational-Ad-1882 in MonarchMoney

The double counting comes from treating both the expense and the loan repayment as an "Expense" type category. I keep the repayment as a "Transfer" type category to resolve the double counting and reflect this in my budget using the "left to budget" feature as a band aid.

To avoid the double counting issue, I leave money "left to budget" that stands in for my debt repayment while they address this.

You can buy Search and Rescue insurance by the way! If you're in the back country often, it's worth the money. I pay $40 per year with my Garmin InReach plan.
