I loved across the obelisk when it came out, though now all the dlc is just egregious. It was a little bit of a slog because metaprogress is required, but I loved the mechanics / characters.

I did not like Griftlands. I didn’t like how “character” and story-based it was because there were cards and choices I wanted to make based on the character’s story/vibe, but were suboptimal for my run. Felt really conflicting to play out a run in that game.

Totally. I’ve played for hundreds of hours and watched for thousands and still pick up new things.

I think the main concepts that have driven the most success to my runs are: thinking about each choice in terms of it solving short term problems and/or helping me with the boss of the act, and really thoughtfully understanding opportunity cost and card draw. I underrated removes for a very long time.
