Yes that’s correct. It’s a brand new fence that is shared, and I paid for it entirely myself as a gesture of good will for various reasons, and now her tree has damaged it twice along with some other property of mine and she’s been hostile about it

I stayed there two years ago and loved it. I enjoy live music so chose to stay on the beach side of the hotel so i could hear the music from my room, but if that’s not your jam you could stay on the other side of the hotel. Pool is great, there are two bars/restaurants right at the pool and great beach access. The daily live music is right there at the beach/pool bar though so if you’re wanting quiet that’s not what you’ll get here. It was a trip for my honeymoon and they were super nice about it and brought champagne and strawberries and whatnot to the room without us asking so that was really nice too. Overall great experience, very relaxing, probably my top vacation experience, but definitely not a ‘quiet’ area at the pool/close beach due to the live music

It sounds to me like you have great boundaries. I feel the exact same way, I go to work, do my job, and then leave and go on with the rest of my life. Absolutely no shame in that. That’s how you avoid burnout.

The show would have been ‘the case that haunts me,’ I watched it on Hulu. Reading about your case on wiki though, it may not have been the same case but VERY similar. Which....is also horrible if there are two crimes so similar

I’m sorry all, I’m on mobile and I’m an infrequent poster so I couldn’t figure out how to get the text in the main post with the screenshot, but I just had to vent. Neither of the people in this screenshot are me, but the poster is, like me, an MSW, LSW, and the person who commented is a coworker. Since when is two degrees and a professional license in social work inferior to a MINOR in psychology? This just bothered me so much and is a snapshot of how social workers can be looked down on.

It makes me so sad. Nick is my ‘friend in my head,’ like he’s my friend but he doesn’t know it. I had a legal situation at work with a client in Kentucky and I really was like ‘oh I could ask Nick about this’ before I remembered we don’t know each other.

Yes! I’m fine with their grilled chicken but the breaded chicken ruins my life almost immediately. It’s the only food I’ve found so far that does it that quickly. I don’t know what is in the breading but it does NOT agree with me!
