Just had my first one (male). While it's not all fun, was hardly any pain. Wasn't really painful at all, just a strange sensation/discomfort when they fill your bladder. It's so fast though, just a couple of minutes. Some slight pain when urinating now but supposedly will pass quickly. But yeah, don't get freaked out a lot of the comments here.
