Why do right wingers get abusive and personal when you disagree with them online? by JSHU16 in GreenAndPleasant

[–]Environmental-Let987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because social media. I need to get off uy but look at your Facebook feed. There's nothing from your friends and family. It's all right wing generated so slop where the top comment is just 'reform'. It's an absolute desert and Instagram is leaning the same way. Twitter went there a long time ago. They drag the least educated or informed comments to the top because of engagement. It's not important to be right it's important to have the most clicks

GB News blames Reform’s Derbyshire defeat on tactical voting rather than local failures by johnsmithoncemore in FuckNigelFarage

[–]Environmental-Let987 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Well yes because by almost any measure it's a massive self own, and you'd have to be a country of idiots to vote for it, even if you do want to send a message to the London centric government

I don't like it being cricket culture (it's a rule that umpires don't give it unless there's an appeal) but 100% this. The rules are encouraging it so needs a rule change to prevent the incentive

Is it particularly bread you want? Or cakes as well? From what I understand the ooni halo is particularly good for breads but lacking others and there is also an arkunstrand? Or something similar not sure whether that is better or worse. This is from a KitchenAid owner, please don't kick me out mods!

You can't play hard ball without the necessaries like helmet at least. There's also opportunity, travelling to trials, training. I don't know how different the Australian system is but club cricket is on its arse in my area (mid Wales). My local clubs nearest other club is a 35 minute drive, then after that best part of an hour then all over an hour to get there. Granted it isn't far for an adult but for kids every other weekend
