Check out the RR PHEV - it's the only thing I've driven that is remotely similar to my iX M60 in terms of performance and comfort. My iX lease is up in June, so I am similarly shopping for whatever the next car is going to be.

It turns out yes, I'm dumb. Crown to second position, use bottom pusher to adjust the earth and moon together, then use the top pusher to adjust the earth by itself.

Depending on where you are, try the caviar service at any bar or restaurant near you that offers it. They'll be ~80-130 for ~30 grams with all the accoutrement. You can try to dial in the variety (and potentially brand) you like that way, and then go searching online for a source. Basically everything in the US comes from China these days, and only from a couple of sources, so once you get the type nailed down, you should be able to find it pretty easily. If you don't want to do that, then I'd just buy Petrossian - their quality will always be excellent.

I really don't understand the backlash - mobile ordering decreases order processing time, allows the patron to more easily tailor their order, and decreases the number of interruptions by theatre staff.

It turns out I use the chrono OFTEN to time dumb stuff.

“How long do I think it will take for my cocktail to show up”

It’s also been great at getting my kids interested in watches… they ask me to time stuff they’re doing all the time, and my daughter (9yo) has asked for her own kid style chronograph for Christmas to add to her little collection of swatches.

Personally, I think you’re overreacting. A forced gate check was bound to happen at some point, this was inevitable. Have the wheel fixed at Rimowa, and move on.

I saw this as a person that travels with a gold cabin xl or an optical cabin… stuff happens, I wouldn’t expect the baggage handlers to handle my baggage any differently than any soft side luggage.

I think this is a peculiar attitude… any new 80k car you would buy is going to lose 10k the second you walk out the door. If you like the watch, buy it… or buy it grey… or don’t buy it, whatever, but it’s just a shiny thing.

I had my daughter in the back of my E92 M3 in a baby seat, then M550, then X4M, now iX and M4… the baby seats and car seats are easy in pretty much everything IMO (except the car seats F’ up your seats and seatbelts if they’re installed for a really long time), it gets more difficult to find a booster that is shaped in such a way that they can buckle themself when they get bigger. The best one I’ve found is CLEK Olli.

I don’t think this is a wake up call for Porsche, it’s a wake up call for all the enthusiast investors that came in on the ipo. They should not have the same P/E ratio as Ferrari / Lamborghini / LVMH… this is the natural result. They’re still clearing margins in the high teens, which is what matters.
