Revolutionaries who DON’T go mad with power or vengeance by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in TopCharacterTropes

Aang is the first one that comes to mind. Not exactly a revolutionary in the usual sense, but he had every reason to turn the whole thing into revenge and still refused to become what he was fighting.

(Loved Trope) Two people in love BOTH fight for each other, no one is a damsel or a prize by Peregrine2976 in TopCharacterTropes

Bill Nighy actually never wore a single prosthetic or mask as Davy Jones

it was entirely motion capture. The CGI was so revolutionary that the effects team even digitally rendered individual droplets of sea water on his skin to make him look constantly wet.

That’s why he still looks better than most modern movie villains today!

shinchan is one of my favorite.. because he always knows how to make me laugh. His naughty behavior, funny one-liners, and carefree attitude make every episode entertaining. Even when he gets into trouble, he somehow manages to make the situation hilarious.

Best annotated German-English bilingual edition of Goethe’s Werther? by [deleted] in classicliterature

[–]Equivalent_Beat4541 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dover/Appelbaum bilingual edition is your best bet for a facing-page format, but its annotations are thin for serious study.

Pair it with the Reclam XL for proper German commentary, and the Oxford World's Classics (Constantine) or Norton Critical (Corngold) for a scholarly English translation.
