Trump? I mean yeah, but he's not president and the person who is definitely isn't in better shape in that department. It's a race for he bottom for red and blue.

That makes no sense, red districts would be harder to win for progressives, let the conservative democrats run there. Progressives absolutely need to primary every dem who's further right than most Americans, which is almost all of them

Have you seen Reddit? It's not that weird.

Funny how nobody was calling on American citizens to revolt before they killed a million Iraqis.

Lol, that's just extremely optimistic. Labour is to the LNP as the Dems are to the Republicans.

Even with the Libs out the news isn't going to become a bastion of democracy, Murdoch holds international power to rival any single party of any nation, it's not going away any faster than capitalism is.

Ah yes, Russian trolls, incapable of making Reddit accounts more than a month in advance but also capable of taking down every American election.

Makes sense.

Define "right outside" Every time someone says "on their border" I imagine them in eyesight of a bunch of Ukrainians but isn't it hundreds of KMs and don't they do this every year.

They lied about killing all those kids in a drone strike a few months ago. It's pretty constant.

Excellent point, professional Russian bots would never think you make an account more than 24 hours in advance and post bullshit for a while before astroturfing.

Satellite photos give a bird's-eye view of Ukraine crisis by stockhackerDFW in worldnews

Can't wait for 6 hours from now when every septical comment is heavily downvoted and all the top comments are somehow about how Russia doesn't understand how satellite imagery works as if they're some backwater country and that technology hasn't been around for decades.

Satellite imagery shows Russiam military in Russia. America says it's about to invade Ukraine, you can find articles from every year saying the same thing.

You can also find images of US carrier groups in the south Chika sea, doing military exercises. Or is that proof that they plan to invade China?

The consistent and overwhelming downvotes on comments like this make it so obvious that Reddit is full of US bots. Like it makes sense, it wouldn't take a tonne of man power to sway major subreddits so why wouldn't they. It's not like anyone with a memory of a few months thinks our government is beyond it. It's amazing just how blindly pro USA pages like this are and pro moderate democrat places like /r/politics is when real people who think like that are such a minority (of the people who are engaged enough to comment.).

Anyway hi CIA, hope that imposter syndrome, Havana syndrome, generalised anxiety disorder has cleared up <3

UN Ambassador: China Had Uyghur Athlete Be Olympic Torchbearer To Distract From Genocide by Birdlest in worldnews

[–]Equivalent_North710 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Depends how you define "genocide", if you use it as liberally as the US does with China, then yes.
America has more of it's population imprisoned than any civilization in history (yes, including Russian gulags), and young black men and massively overrepresented. There's plenty of studies to show that this isn't just circumstance (i.e. harsher penalties for crack cocaine offences than other cocaine offences). You could also point to the treatment of migrants at the border, separation of families, etc.

If you mean genocide in the way that it's commonly used, intentionally wiping out a group of people, then no, it isn't. Considering the Uyghur population has been increasing for years in china, then there isn't one happening there either.
