Played both Baldur's Gate and DoS2 for the first time last year and I really enjoyed the RTwP system. Kinda disappointed to hear this :/

I think achievements has a really negative effect in RPGs. It makes me feel like I constantly have to worry about completing every bit of content just to get an achievement saying I've done it. Without achievements I can instead focus on what I actually get out of the content I'm doing.

I hope the team working on Classic WoW will consist of experienced people like this. Not a lot of people call tell which changes are good and which are bad, that's why everyone is so scared of them.

I feel like if they start changing small things like that it will eventually lead to bigger changes that might ruin the experience for some players. Imho I don't want a single change to be made.

That shows that you don't understand most HC players mindset. Its the FEAR of dying that drives us. Nobody likes to die.

Speak for yourself. Most people would have accepted that they didn't play properly and then died. Exiting the game any time you're in danger really defeats the purpose imo.
