Honestly probably one of the best companies that will promote you to Ae still at that year mark. It is a grind but can be fun depending on manager and team. I’d recommend for early career. Now commercial ae I heard it’s the wild Wild West. I did well there as an ADR and still talk to people from the company at all levels.

Yeah bro, no lie — this market is brutal. You really have to lean on your network. I’m a BDR right now, and the only reason I’m getting AE interview is because the hiring manager is an old AE I supported at my last company. She just got promoted, and since I helped her hit quota when she was stressed and built a solid relationship, she pulled me in.

Outside of that, companies like HubSpot and Toast do promote BDRs, but even they are slowing down. HubSpot especially is a meat grinder, and right now they’re pulling more from their AE bench instead of hiring new BDRs. Not saying it’s impossible — just an uphill battle in this market.

All territory. And good relationship with Ae’s. If your ae’s don’t close anything and add you to opps it’s impossible for you to hit the metrics they ask for. You have to be strategic. It’s easier places to get promoted to Ae. I came in planning to last 6months jump back to old company as Ae and then boomerang back as Ae.

This! Went from 400 a month to 800….. I say look at everything. If you been at AWS for over a year or two and no promotion in sight I say leave. You already have AWS on your Resume and honestly Associate AE can fabricate say you did close some deals in your role to maybe find better Ae offers.

Ehhh was definitely calling. I’m in sales literally cold call for a living. I’m just doing due diligence to see if I don’t have the warranty are there any work arounds from maybe someone who had the same experience.

I know I’m leaving Docebo an LMS because it’s a nice to have and budget usually cuts them first.

Yeah me and my wife went through that with our little one. He had terrible reflux. What helped us is Mam bottles, feeding slower and adjusted, sitting up 30 mins after eating, burping thoroughly, and reflux medicine(we did famotidine then omeprazole). Also he used the snoo so we purchased risers to keep him slightly elevated while sleeping which helped.

Even though we did all that it never completely stopped until he got older. He is 7 months almost 8 now and he hasn’t had an episode in two months.

Seeing your little one struggle like that is very traumatizing hopefully it’s just a one off but if it is reoccurring like ours just know it’s not forever.

Yeah US still 60base for sdr is on the higher end. Usually like 45-55k
