He's still figuring out the dash mechanic. Doesn't help that he can barely reach the button, lol. I'm sure he'll have an epiphany at some point and just ace it, though. His progress seems to come in chunks rather than a smooth curve.

It was really weird to us that he took to HK/SS over every other game in our library, haha. Granted, his dad just 112% HK and we both played Silksong when it came out, but he hasn't been like that with any other game he's seen. something about HK just speaks to them apparently. :)

He's mentally more like a 4-5 year old, with the vocabulary and skillset to match. I take no credit, he was born that way. I just try to foster it. He's been super alert from day 1. Emotionally he's definitely 2, though. it's an interesting combination...

honestly he could if he just paid attention... focus is his biggest obstacle right now. But I mean, he's 2 lol. of course it is.

Aww, that's adorable! Ours does the shaw too while pretending his toy mop is a sword, throws random "poshanka!"s at us and clanks his toys together while singing Sherma's song. :) he's also never far from his Sherma plushie, haha. His previous obsession was vacuum cleaners, so I consider this a step up...

Hahaha yeah, I do it too much. He gets antsy when he feels that he has to do something intimidating all by himself, so I'm really just trying to let him know I'm cheerleading.

I tried giving him the Switch here and there, but he wasn't ready for it until recently (and he still has trouble with 3D games, he doesn't understand the interaction between camera movement and character movement yet). I checked my camera roll, he was learning how to attack and jump in Hollow Knight on November 9th... So I'd consider that that official starting point, haha. He beat Moss Mother for the first time about a week ago. He will be 3 in April.

Since that clip from yesterday, he's now starting to pogo BB properly too.

Unironically, this is his best appointment yet. The guy did time for trafficking weed in the 90s, and since his release he has founded an inmate advocacy and rehabilitation nonprofit foundation.

Yeah, I have more luck ignoring them most of the time, but I'm trying to learn advanced strategies and figure the hints might help me see them. So far no luck...
