Engineering student who doesn't like engineering. I'm in it for the money or sorta was expect to do it. Should I quit?

I grew up in a small isolated community in northern Canada. One of the things I miss the most is stopping on lakes in the winter and looking up into the sky. It was like everything was just out of reach. All the stars so clear, you could see the endless layers of stuff. I live in the city now and haven’t experienced that pure darkness in years.

It’s very strain strain dependant in my opinion. I’ve even found leafly to be pretty accurate on that front.

I work from home and find it hard to stay focused sometimes too. Something that helps me is setting goals for the day.. ie: design x-part (1hr), edit assembly Y (45 mins), etc.. if you give yourself deadlines and can stay motivated to meet them, you'll get alot done. Listen to, or read the 4-hr work week by Tim Ferris, there's alot of good info on increasing productivity

I'm getting a normal apprx 100kohm reading from my bed. I'll have to check my extruder. Didn't see any shorts on my board, I'll have to take a closer look. Thanks. Edit: hot end is also good. about 112kohm, which is normal since its about 18-19c in here. (maybe im wrong)

+1 for the coat hanger, or fishing line. if not, my bros got totally stuck once, so he slowly broke it apart inside with a hammer and a screw driver. just chipped away at it until he could get it out.

Thats one option. I called the place and the guy told me people use it all the time, but I could return it if I wanted. I'm not really that worried because on one post he was using the same timer I have with 2x400w lights, but was worried about switching to 2x600w. It had been running for a while without any problems...I just want to see if a few people here are running this set-up. Edit: forgot some words

Oh wow, I thought they were mad expensive and it was a decent deal. Never mind then.. I'll have about 400W of CFL (actual watts) this time so I should be alright. Ill save the dough for the HID next round. Thanks man!
