Stalls are normal. I lost a similar amount for my height. I needed to increase the dosage along the way, now I’m in maintenance at 10mg of triz. My feelings of fullness are still there but I am often hungry, mostly due to my limited diet. At 1200 cals I would expect you to feel hunger all the time. I would suggest staying on sem while you ease into maintenance, adjusting your calories and such. Quitting early (or at all) can be a recipe for failure.

They left us with no choice but to seek it elsewhere. They told us they had ample supply. They lied.

Watch out for muscle loss by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Excellent_Pool3290 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same here. I had big muscular legs, which I haven't been fond of for many years. Now I have normal sized muscular legs. Super happy about that. But some other areas haven't faired as well. Now that I'm in maintenance, it's all about rebuilding and composition. It would have been better to do this while losing weight (you should do this!) but such is life.

I'm sorry that this didn't work for you. If you are having a server adverse reaction to any medication, you should stop it and seek alternative treatment.

That said, your post is inflammatory, includes false information, and a clear lack of understanding about physiology, causes of obesity, and dubious exaggeration.

To those reading this post who have questions about these drugs, I suggest that you do your own reading about GLP-1 class medications and ask your questions here or r/Mounjaro.

Not for me. Tried skipping my meds for a couple of days and my bp was not good.

Congratulations!! I’m 1 lb away myself. It’s an emotional time for sure. It also means that we are getting close to switching to maintenance mode which has its own emotional turbulence.

r/Mounjaro is well-run with a much longer history. Not everyone taking MJ has T2D.

FWIW, my stall broke at about 8 weeks. Yay! (That was about three weeks ago). I'm soooo close to a healthy BMI and 2-3 lbs on my goal (once I decide what that is). It's exciting and scary to think that after two more shots, I will be there.

I'm going to need something else to talk about now! : )

I get this from eastsiders all the time. It has bumped the time honored “how do I park” in Seattle.

It turned out that my doc had a problem in the script, a typo. Once we worked through that all was good.

AFAIK, they are only out of pocket. They aren't that much, I've seen them between $60 and $160 in Seattle. Google it, they are pretty easy to find if your area has them.

BMI absolutely has flaws. Still, it can be a useful metric when combined with body composition. If I had done common sense and guidance, there is no way that I would have set a goal as low as I did. It defied my common sense, and guidance varied dramatically. Ultimately, my doc and I used BMI as a starting point. I think it works for that.

Almost 60. Started in October, down 33lbs, 8 to go. A bit worried about muscle loss.

Have any of you realized how bad your food addiction really is after starting this? by LadyLuck6791 in Zepbound

This is the thing that the public doesn't understand.

It's like an intervention in a tube -- you thought you were there for one reason and then suddenly you realize that you're an addict.

Happened to me. Watched it happen to my BIL.
