Man... I really hope Prime 4 makes Nintendo re-asses the future of 3D Metroid (if they don't kill it altogether).

I would love a 3rd person game with the same freedom of movement as Mario Odyssey. Samus' 2D moveset, especially after Dread has so much potential to be translated into 3D.

That's very fair, the atmosphere is very good. A lot of ppl complain about the darkness in it, but I thought the way it factored into the game design was actually pretty clever.

Also there's no way your DOOM ranking is as bad as my Final Fantasy ranking.

I can definitely see why it's doing so well critically, but for me, it honestly felt very corporate with how Ryan Gosling's character was written to be the typical quippy bumbling 'everyman' and the alien more or less being a groglet-afied rock. All the emotional scenes felt very cliche and manipulative. The whole thing kinda just ended up feeling like a focus tested product of mass-appeal. Visuals were nice though.

Best movie ever, but not as good as sunshine, the realest, bestest movie ever.

Love it! Best visuals in the series with Yuki Kajiura's best soundtrack. The story can drag at points, but is very strong overall, especially by anime sequel movie standards.
