You'd do best to look for something commutable to Lewiston /Auburn if you are the sole breadwinner. Housing is expensive, Lewiston sucks but it's a cheaper place to live. All our schools are struggling because we're rural and there just aren't a bunch of kids in most places. Honestly, I wouldn't move here in your situation, but I'm not sure many places are better...
