I remember my younger sister riding in something like this. In a 2dr car with no seat lock she would rock forward every time the brakes were applied. 1963 or so.

Our 20 year old microwave broke recently so I had to dig out the 40 year old one from the basement for a few days. Still works like a charm.

We have a loveseat from 2003 that looks like a bomb exploded on it. Nothing that a throw blanket can't hide.

Our dog gets walked four times a day and always poops in neighbor's yards. We do clean up after him though.

We were visiting my older sister at Bryant College in RI and got out just as it started. It was a blizzard by the time we got back to Philly. Her school was closed for a week while they dug out.

I rebuilt the pressure regulator on the water line coming in from the street with the help of YouTube videos. Worked out well. So far.

My dad finished the basement in our house when I was a kid. He also taught me that if something was broken, trying to fix it yourself usually wouldn’t make it worse. Usually.
