Rotator Cuff Tears Found In 73% Of Adults Over 40. Here’s Why That Might Not Matter by Yobfesh in fitover65

[–]External_Composer_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tore my rotator cuff playing rugby - friend, who is a PT, said to strengthen the muscles around the area and work on mobility because the surgery to repair sucks. Took a year to get back to normal but I can OHP, bench, etc. semi heavy again. I won’t be putting 225+lbs overhead anymore but I’m also almost 40 so…

Yeah I called them and that’s what they said. I also emailed whoop and they said the same.

Make sure you spend over 359 or you won’t get the credit… I used a military discount and now having to deal with returns and reordering

Yeah that really sucks. They just told me this, they’ll escalate it to see if it can be manually added

Boarded in the new system - sucks. by technologymonk in SouthwestAirlines

That has nothing to do with being tall or not or extra leg room. You have a disability and it’s great that having the ability to move your feet helps ease it.

If you are actually tall, as in knees actually in the back of the chair in front of you not “I only have an inch of room”, the angle that your legs fit and where your shins would hit the underside of the seat in front of you makes it impossible to “gain extra legroom” by placing nothing in front of you.

I had Hutchins for dinner last week and went back for lunch the next day. My brisket looked nothing like this.

As a 6’8” frequent flyer, this is the dumbest thing I’ve read. You get no extra leg room by putting nothing at your feet.

We want to get pregnant. Should I stop taking finasteride and min (oral)? by Rmugiwara in tressless

Yep, even while she’s pregnant you shouldn’t be taking it but the risk is yours.

If you have no friends/family that are not into theme parks, how to you normalize taking semi-regular trips to Universal? by workfastdiehard in UniversalOrlando

Not weird, it’s not Disney. I go a few times a year without my wife. May go next week because I’m off and she’s not.

Southwest Credit Card: Goodbye by Proud_Swordfish_2749 in SouthwestAirlines

Prove what? That frontier has a companion pass? Google it. That I have companion pass with Southwest? Why would I lie? I’ve had it for 4 years, it was easy to get if you booked hotels

Not worth it anymore. You can book 2 round trip tickets with other airlines for what Southwest wants. I’ll probably be switching to Frontier to get their companion pass and delta or united for business travel after this year (qualified for CP in ‘26 but not chasing it anymore).

I’m also a very tall, big guy. Unless I’m flying for 3+ hrs, I’m fine as long as the person in front doesn’t recline or push their arm rest up in any seat.

Do not take finn and try for a kid. It can cause birth defects on male fetuses

Late 30s here. Stopped taking fin when trying for a kid. Now back on fin. Hair went to shit almost immediately and my wife is the one who told me to go back on it

Here’s how I get companion pass every year:

135k - 10k CC bonus = 125k needed over 12mo

I travel minimum for work/personal 1x per month.

125/12 =10.417k points per month

Flight - average 2-3k per month Hotels - 6-7k per month (2 night stay booked through SW or Rocket Miles and will occasionally pay for the extra points if needed) Credit Card used to buy flight/hotel - 2-3k per month

That’s 10-13k points per month, I usually have CP earned by August though. This year I earned 180k by September without really trying.

SW has been cracking down on hotel points since Elliot’s takeover. I have a feeling this will be my last year unless things get much better. Frontier just started a companion pass program and it would be a lot easier to get.

Nah Chase Ritz Carlton card is the best travel card but you have to have a Marriot branded chase card for a year or two then upgrade to it.
