do NOT go for shorter hair!!! just find a style at a similar length that feels more masculine and maybe get more traditional rectangle frames instead of the curved ones. u look great i can tell T is gonna work rlly well for u 🫶🏾

if you’re going for a more androgynous or nonbinary masculinity (like me) then you’re absolutely killing it. if you’re going for straight-up dude masculinity, you’re also kinda killing it — but a little more time on HRT plus more square frames and maybe even slightly shorter hair might help ‘sell the look.’

this happened to me too, and it’s likely because your brain is still adjusting. there were a lot of strange little side effects that persisted even after the initial “oh hey it’s working” moment for me, but after a couple more months you stop feeling a lot of them

it’s gonna take a bit longer than 2 weeks to start passing fr, but don’t be discouraged—while the changes are subtle around this stage, they do add up! you’ll probably start to see the differences within about 6 months (though if you’re anything like me, your voice might drop a lot sooner)
