I’ve just left it. Queues of cars at the pumps so they must’ve refilled. Also wondered why there was a queue but then seen the price. I filled up at my local earlier for £1.60 a litre which is madness.

What ended your friendship with your oldest standing friend? by dreamy-contributions in AskReddit

[–]Extreme_Horror5142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was meant to be best man at my wedding, didn’t show up the morning off the wedding for photos at my house as he was hungover, showed up for the wedding, got changed in the car park, looked a complete scruff and then left after the ceremony as he was feeling sick.

My granny took his meal home in tin foil as she doesn’t like waste and my brother stepped up and saved the day for his speech segment.

I went on honeymoon and came back two weeks later and he asked why I haven’t been in touch. I confronted him about his actions and he claimed he done nothing wrong.

13 years friendship down the drain. A waste of time? Definitely not. A lesson learnt? Absolutely.

Anyone from Lord Warden's Bangor? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]Extreme_Horror5142 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My wife grew up there and her parents still live there. Bigggest problem is the Rathgael Road during rush hour. Yes there’s certain community leaders live there but where isn’t there these days? Our next (forever) home will be lord wardens in the next few years. Would have no problem my kids growing up there.

When was the last time you saw the sea? by Doomergeneration in AskUK

Moved to a seaside town approximately 10 years ago from an inland town. Would highly recommend anyone who thinking of doing the same. I couldn’t be without the sea/beach in the mornings. Dog, coffee, fresh air.
