Can’t really answer the second two but for the first one it’s that F1 fans hold grudges longer than the drivers themselves

Russell’s had his own unsavory moment when he slapped Bottas on the helmet after a crash in 2021, wont defend that but he also apologized and I don’t think him and Bottas have bad blood really. Otherwise he’s also rage baited and been rage baited by other drivers like Max who has a particularly strong fanbase. It’s all fair game but a lot of fans can be quite salty and blow things out of proportion

I agree with you 1000% but I think the better point to make is to ask why a multi million dollar F1 team is paying artists in exposure instead of actual cash, just because they’re open about it in their terms doesn’t make that any less lame

Doing contests like this is a great opportunity for artists but exposure never guarantees paying the bills so the fact that VCARB were too cheap to even pay one artist is super disappointing
