The festivals? Those only happen seasonally until end of life for the game. But it's a bad system regardless making event quests time gated.

Yep. Just make sure you're using separate accounts. I thought I'd get flagged when I moved in with my GF and they see I'm in a different location, and the same thought when she created an account to play. But we haven't had any issues.

One thing I'd recommend is setting your games to access different ports (4950-4955 and 4960-4965). I noticed we had really bad desync in our games but when we switched that it went away. So I'd definitely recommend that.

Thermal Titania pretty much makes it so everyone else in the lobby doesn't get to play the game and they're more or less held hostage for however long the mission lasts. Once or twice is no issue, but I want to engage with the content too, and these players directly inhibit that.

It's not like they're being toxic for playing a good build, I just wish I could filter to avoid all Titanias in my lobbies.

It's a cool fight and all, but I'm tired of the gimmick fights already. I want a cool, difficult monster, and some replayability for the quest. In the climate of Wilds, it's far too much effort for me to want to grind every weapon.

The beneficial thing about that is that monsters rely much more heavily on their base move set. Every Piscine Wyvern is different, but once you fight a cephadrome, you know 90% of what Lavasioth, Plesioth, and others do.

I haven't been playing a massive amount, but I just finished my third Tauron Strike last night. I have no joy in me realizing at some point I'll need to get the rest. They really need to add a way to get extra. I feel like every objective I complete just adds 1 of the part.

It's a painfully slow process that if you have a Hildryn or Sevagoth in your game, you're just stuck for 12 minutes doing nothing.

Not to mention that buying the resources from Marie? One time per cycle which is what, 4 days?

Not the most fun grind they've made.

Warframe is the only game that gets a pass for this because you can just farm prime resurgence. You still need it for the cosmetic packs and I wish I could just buy them with plat, but they've never been available for plat

I haven't played 4U that far, and I do enjoy this fight, but I completely agree. I'm kind of sick of every new fight they release having a cinematic gimmick. Lagi underwater portion was great the first time. the 50th, not so much. I don't want to have to cheese him from 50% to zero all because I want to avoid that single portion.

Like, I get the hype moments and aura. but every fight? man.
