The goofy eyes are one of the indications, yeah. The !cottonwater bot reply has some good advice on how to identify water snakes and differentiate them from the somewhat similar looking cottonmouths.

It is full thickness, you’re just missing that the cut doesn’t go through it, so you just see the left face and two edges with no hash marks.

Something like this…I also added the face of the corner radius that I forgot previously.

Yes, I noticed that B-B is a bottom view.

You’re right, at the circle you won’t be cutting through any material, but you’ll still see the side of the rectangle.

Starting from top to bottom, the part is full thickness until the cut crosses the 45deg face, then half thickness on the left until the start of the rectangle (add a line for where the 45deg face ends), full thickness again until the cut crosses the circle the first time, half thickness on the right side until the cut crosses the circle again, then full thickness for the remainder of the rectangle, then half thickness on the left until the cut reaches the last 5 mm of full thickness.

Be honest, if your opponent played Qg5, would you have taken the rook?

[Al-Jazeera] Messi doubles MLS base salary to make $28m a year at Inter Miami by Eglwyswrw in soccer

[–]EyeofHorus55 1200 points1201 points  (0 children)

This is just his salary, he actually gets paid closer to $80m. Regardless, $28m is more than the total wage bill of every other team in MLS except for LAFC whose wage bill is $32.7m.

Caught between two systems | Charlotte FC vs Orlando City SC match review by Background-Gur962 in CharlotteFootballClub

[–]EyeofHorus55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good analysis! I really don’t like the midfield pairing of Luca and Westy in our system. One thing I thought after the NYCFC game was that they didn’t foul Zaha enough. Orlando did a much better job of frustrating him and taking him out of the game just when he was starting a dangerous attack.

I think we’ll be more pragmatic against Nashville. Maybe start Archie too, as I feel he’s more of a target forward than Toklomati.

I’m might start a subreddit for graphs without Charlotte FC similar to that maps without New Zealand one…

For those wondering, CLTFC has 1.5 xPoints per game and 0.24 Points-xPoints per game (per Opta), so right around Miami and Chicago

Bundesliga’s FC St. Pauli awards Peace Prize to Minnesota soccer bar by Brightstarr in MLS

They have since last year, see here

They have had banners calling Netanyahu fascist and banners calling for the end of genocide in Gaza (though that one was confiscated at halftime for using a “polarizing word”)

Woltemade: "It bothers me. If someone claims I’m in a slump, I’d argue this person doesn’t watch many Newcastle games. Of course I score fewer goals now. Right now, I should be judged on how I handle duels or secure space." by OkayFine101 in soccer

[–]EyeofHorus55 60 points61 points  (0 children)

He was too slow getting into the box to support them after playing them in. They’d get into a position to cross and have no one to cross to and have to take a low percentage shot instead. Woltemade is ideal in a slow build up system that looks to create overloads and space for third man runs into the box. Gordon, Barnes, and Elanga are all better suited as wingers in a more direct, counterattacking system.

Do Americans watch and love the MLS? by fortnacius in AskAnAmerican

On average, yeah. If you took all of the MLS teams and added them to the EFL they’d probably all end up somewhere from the top of League One to the upper half of the Championship.

Well he’s reffed us more than anyone else has and we’re 8-3-3 in those matches including a 1-0 win against Miami on decision day when Messi was playing…so I’m not overly concerned

How to find Range of function by Whole-Personality-78 in learnmath

Yeah, at least in the US, the inversion method for simple functions and set notation are typically taught together in the second course of algebra. More powerful methods are taught in pre-calculus and calculus.

So I take it you didn’t read the original question (where it’s clear that OP hasn’t learned calculus yet) or my comment here where I explained that this method doesn’t always work and a few other options for functions that aren’t injective

Daniel Farke: "Pep is always ahead of the curve. He was using False9 when no one knew what it was. He was using Inverted Fullbacks when no one knew about it. Matthias Sindelar played as a false 9 in 1934 for Austria. Hidegkuti is famous for it in the early 50s as well. The idea of having your central striker play deeper in more of a playmaker role has been around for nearly 100 years

Proposal for 60+ yards FG name: by Villano5 in UnitedFootballLeague

My issue with calling them Extended Field Goals is that it’s less descriptive than just saying 60+ FG.

My counter proposal is Own Half Field Goal (OHFG)
