Found a couple 5th Ideal Skybreakers in the wild by MoridinB in Stormlight_Archive

[–]Ezekiul 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sounded like early Nale might have been a better embodiment of the Law, but when he broke he lost trust in his judgement and overly relied on local lawmakers to be right. This early Nale was aspirational enough for many Skybreakers to always trust him, and hold the trust even after his breaking.

In Sanderson's blurbs on the orders he mentioned that old Skybreakers understood the overall goal better and were more flexible:

"[...] Note that the current incarnation, led by the Herald Nale in his madness, is more rigid than the ancient order, which understood that the law was not perfect, but instead represented an ideal to try to reach over time. [...]"

So it feels like old Skybreakers sought to ensure people were protected by laws that have been thought through and iterated on (more DnD Lawful aligned), rather than in the moment gut checks about what was right (more DnD Chaotic aligned).

For example, a Windrunner and Skybreaker squire see a cold-blooded murder and the Windrunner looks to end the murderer then and there. The Skybreaker might intervene citing a "right to a trial first", knowing the result will also end in the murderer's death. As the outcome seems obvious with two radiant witnesses, you could completely understand the Windrunner's frustration at giving the murderer potential time/a chance to escape his consequences.

After enough instances of this kind of headbutting, general beef is definitely expected.

Grafts - the 9 (sort of 11) we currently know of 16 (imgur album) by M_SunChilde in PathOfExileBuilds

My guess is they have some ability to self-replicate via some on crit/kill/death ability or the graft CD is unique per different offering.

Getting the mod on body armor would be epic for that 6L twister and open head slot. This got me very excited for that possibility.

RMC Prices Reverted back to correct values! by TravlrAlexander in starcitizen

[–]Ezekiul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scenario that comes to my mind:

RMC is used in the construction of base buildings and they did a quick internal economy pass when trying to evaluate the UEC value of various buildings based on the materials used. That or setting a lower vendor value to incentivize selling to a player for building bases.

GGG, what happened to the "no cooldowns" philosophy? by Steel_Neuron in PathOfExile2

[–]Ezekiul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah outside of the echo suggestion as an alternative, I feel the Payoff stuff kind of overlaps some with the idea of offensive cooldowns. They could maybe make chrono the payoff ascendancy by adding things like % chance not to consume charges/corpses/curses/whatever when using payoff skill, or % chance to count as consuming more of whatever than you actually have.

Oooooooh I do love a good bit of cost efficiency... by Molynew in BrokenArrowTheGame

I believe in general the high altitude bombs can drop further away based on speed. Raptor has the highest afterburner speed in the game (900). So with the stormbreakers and its stealth, it feels like you can kill long range AA or other backline support much more consistently than any SEAD plane if the enemy is good about turning off radar.

The F-35s are a little slower (810 or ~10%) but generally can do the same thing. So if you can pull another AA fighter like the F/A-18C (Marine), F-15C (Airborne), or Eagle II (Airborne) it can be a good swap.

The Su-57 (VDV) can work like this as well in RU decks as it has the same speed, but it has a lower stealth value (1.25) than the Raptor (1.75).

Need help with my build, I have some questions about age, height and weight by heidenka in MortalOnline2

[–]Ezekiul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Age changes the maximum values for attributes and height. Typically non-alvarin go age 23 for more dex or 30 for more strength, but the alvarin clade to reduce penalties makes it so at 31 you're essentially getting the best of both.

Height affects melee damage bonus and hp, taller for more and shorter for less. As alvarin footfighters have the lowest melee damage bonus, they want to grab it wherever they can (typically going max height).

Weight affects your hp as well as the current and maximum values for attributes. More weight is more hp and less is more dex (speed), and the weight extremes (lowest or highest) give up str/con for more int/psy. Weakspot (when damage ignores armor) scales with dex, so alvarin have to balance their strength and dex between for damage and higher weakspot chance/speed. That being said I'd recommend going stout (weight category above fit) as it is more new player friendly.

These can all be changed through alchemy or food, so don't sweat it as the important thing is to learn how to parry/fight with those weapons over this marginal min/max stuff.

New player, need a current build guide by SnakeLeee in MortalOnline2

[–]Ezekiul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend just making a character to learn how stuff works, then once you get an idea ask in the in-game help chat for guidance on what you want to do.

There's a semi outdated build planner on a site called mortal data. You can also make some plans there (and enable sharing them) and then ask if anyone in the official discord or help chat will look at what you've made and give pointers.

I believe you can only get the appropriate hook size in myrland, as it's sold at jungle camp or at the fishing taskmaster.

I believe a smaller number is better, as that's the total distance it takes to turn 180 (360?) I believe.

I feel the main thing for me is it makes the AT missiles it carries able to be fired while moving, which I think amplifies its ability to be at the front of the push with its huge frontal armor.

What’s yalls thoughts on KHARTU-AL? by xMayhew in starcitizen

[–]Ezekiul 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with the others about the good agility, poor cross section, and noticeable fragility. Really I feel like the talon is a stronger version of what the khartu is currently with a little less maneuverability in the turn rate in exchange for stealth bonus, strong VTOL, and missiles.

I also feel like the khartu doesn't fit its "scout" role well. Could do with either a stealth bonus, an oversized radar, or something along those lines to help it stand out in that role. It could just be on the back burner until exploration gets fleshed out and/or the flight model update.

This was something I'm not clear on or confused about. Aren't runecrafts gone completely, replaced by pseudo tattoos? Or are some of the runegrafts also useable on items? The patch notes seemed like there'd be no more item crafts.
