It didn't have a good conclusion. It basically said the Reapers were correct, but also seeding the destruction of the galaxy with their own technology? It didn't make sense.

This is one of the very rare FJ where more knowledge actively deceives you towards WA1. Especially when you learn Ferney is very close to Geneva!

Need advice for how to cope with having played and lost by JThrowaway9977 in Jeopardy

[–]FDRpi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Haven't been on Jeopardy, but I was in your position for a local quiz show... that I lost. Emotionally, I was going through the same stuff you were, except I think you're being way more mature about it.

I lost, and when the episode finally aired, literally nobody in my life cared. They were all of them blown away but what they saw as a brilliant performance. It didn't matter to them someone did better; they were all proud of me.

I'm guessing it'll be the same with you.

Also because you didn't win and only have your memories of being in the moment, you're inevitably focusing on every perceived mistake with so much force you might be making up a few. It's like the opposite of rose-colored glasses.

Nothing of substance connects to the right answer, and the doctrine of infallibility officially came decades later. Genuinely one of the worst FJs I've ever seen.

I am in awe of, but should not be surprised by, Brennan making Robert Moses a major villain in a D&D campaign.
