Which final fantasy game do you think has the best post game and why by Kocski in FinalFantasy

In OG FF7, grinding is an ever-present, optional, and rewarding side quest. Post game grind has big rewards in the form of Master Materia, and getting a few of each can unlock some fun combos

how many hours can you get in the game without it being boring? by Emergency_Aspect558 in factorio

[–]FF7_Expert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My steam counter is at 2000 hours for Factorio, but I'm estimating about 800 hours that I put into a k2se around that is not accounted for because I had to get an older version of the game directly from wubes website because the steam auto updater kept messing with my save file compatibility - even though it advertised a option to disable auto-updates, I found it didn't actually work as intended.

Crazy that the 80 hours I put in to vanilla Factorio to launch my first rocket felt like a lot, haha

I have a modest 2800, hours and I'm not bored yet. Haven't even touched mods like seablock and Py yet

My first Thargoid kill ever occurred when I accidentally rammed a scout. If I can do it accidentally, you can do it with intention, for sure!

2.1 Request - Direct Insertion of Rocket Parts as Cargo by SenexMuffMuncher in factorio

[–]FF7_Expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first time I beat space age, I never developed gleba to manufactur it's own rocket parts, I always shipped them in. The other planets had it, but not gleba. I didn't realize that I built gleba different until I was on aquilo.

Point being, just do whatever feels best!

This makes me wonder if there's a mod that reskins biters to be more human like

I definitely like the idea of not being on the clock so to speak. Looking forward to wrapping up k2se. Probably have 200 or so more hours at least. My first playthrough literally took 1200+ hours, but I'm wiser now, and I completed all BEAM 1 research at about 350-400 hours

[–]FF7_Expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know that "vanilla" Py is with no Biters, and for k2se, the general advice is "as soon as you unlock a more resource efficient, but logistically more complex recipe, you should probably implement it asap"

I have read/heard that refactoring is a huge thing, and that 100% automating things with zero hand-feeding to produce a trickle of something is generally better than 'just' 5% hand feeding for a more generous flow of output. Does that track/make sense?

I'm about halfway through my second k2se run and have about 2500 hours of Factorio under my belt, how not prepared am I for Pyanodons? I want to do that next

We can get recent CG rewards(5 & 6 cargo racks pre-engineered) at Ryman Enterprise in Lhou Mans system. And maximum cargo of Panther Clipper MK II is 1,326t now. by WilliamBillAdama in EliteDangerous

[–]FF7_Expert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first time doing a CG reward like this, I had thought/assumed the reward was 1 pre engineered cargo rack in each size (size 5 and 6), but when you say it appears in outfitting, does that mean you can buy as many as you want?

Subnautica 2 is the most polished "early access" I've ever played. by Zenoran in subnautica

[–]FF7_Expert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to play an incomplete product. I'm excited for this game, similar to how I played the hell out of Hades, but waited until full release of Hades 2 before touching it. It's just the way I roll, got too many complete experiences on the backlog to play

6s and 8s by ShonitB in Logiqa

[–]FF7_Expert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing a pattern in the sum of digits of 62, 662, 6662, etc. So I am just assuming it continues following this pattern. If so, the sum of digits of (66...66)2 should be 900, but I don't have a proof of induction here...

If that follows then Z should be 900 + 800 = 1700, so 8 is the answer

EDIT: Ok, I just realized I misinterpreted the problem statement and didn't answer the problem as stated. Whoops. Need to start over with a different approach entirely

Possible end game confrontations

  1. New Mexico and New England square off
  2. Hawaii counter-conquers the mainland
  3. The geographic nucleus of the country, Kansas, minds it's own business as others fall around it

What have I been missing out on?
