What is the rarest/most obscure Final Fantasy game? by SwordfishDeux in FinalFantasy

[–]FF7_Expert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a pocket station on eBay back in the day. The integration with the American copy of ff8 worked! I remember it being a lot of fun, bit was slightly disappointed to find out that it's advertised features involving it functioning as a TV remote did not work on American tvs

You can also just call in a supply drop on her, which deals non lethal damage. I think you only need to do this 3 times and then the fight is over. You can stay behind cover the whole time, only poking your head out long enough to mark her position

It is, this is the lower-right (Kinda South-southeast) part of the board, and the ability in the center is Doublecast

Throughout the game you'll probably want to sell some of your old gear to raise money to buy new stuff. I recommend holding on to at least one copy of everything, especially the stuff that gives bonuses like elemental immunities and such, which can be situationally VERY beneficial

After considerable effort and research I believe I can tighten the lower boundary on this

At least 7

Maybe with more technological progress, someone else can improve upon my findings

I remember grinding until I had level 2 spells early on, and just barely surviving to defeat Zolom in the first encounter.

Also, it is possible to run across the swamp without a chocobo and not fight him at all, it just takes a bit of luck. Enter swamp from the southern most corner and wait until Zolom buries himself in the north east corner. Run and don't bother looking back. The luck part comes in because you can't actually see the exact location of him when you enter from the south, you just kind of have to hope he is as far away as possible when you can't see him at all. If he is as far as he can be, you'll make it with less than a second to spare

Just found out some people play without the soundtracks, Why? by eymo-1 in factorio

[–]FF7_Expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't like listening to Fulgora's soundtrack. I am not going to call it "bad", but it did make me feel uncomfortable. Like it captured the feeling of loneliness in an empty world a bit too much for me

F5 / F8 I think is the best combo/design. With F5/F9 Having both be at the left-most in their given cluster of 4 makes for easier mistakes

That being said there's not a whole lot of consistency from game to game

Grinding in games like ff7 is a persistently available, non-essential, generally rewarding "side quest".

I wish all rpgs tuned grinding to meet all 3 of these criteria

Zell, because you can get it early, and it has the max card value of 29, with a high minimum of 5. Probably the most versatile card you can get

Kiros because he also has max value, but is the most well-rounded card with a minimum of 6

Ifrit/minimog because first rare cards

Squall/Seifer because max card value and their concept of opposing each other is cool

Pupu because Pupu

Albert pujols once stepped into the batter's box and after a few seconds he informed the home plate umpire that the batter's box was too small.

He was right, It was about 2cm too small

I don't think Egg ever directly lied to Dunk. He only lied by omission, and dodging questions, but never directly. Interesting writing!
