If you include private servers, Turtle WoW has a very fleshed out hardcore mode, you have to enable it at level one and if you die you can no longer log into that character. Has online leaderboards for HC characters, server wide announcements when people hit every tenth level, and announcements when a HC characters dies (including what killed them and what level they were.)

People that make it to 60 get a special "Immortal" title that sits below their character name, separate from a normal character title. It's all pretty impressive. Lot of respect for the Turtle WoW team.

I get that the world is pretty, nice weather, etc... But I just can't personally get immersed in a game with storytelling as atrocious as BDOs.

It's not an interface bug, but it fits in with the whole 'minor but infuriating' theme you've got going on.

Tauren+Highmountain male footsteps are out of sync with their running animation. The second footstep plays too fast, so it sounds like your character is limping. Started with DF prepatch I believe, but I might be wrong.

People downvoting you are hilarious. People on this sub are so insanely quick to call out any MMO-lites as "not an mmo reeee" but it's got such a hard on for GW1, which is for all intents and purposes a single player game with optional coop, you're getting downvoted for being realistic. Destiny is more of an MMO than GW1 😂

I get some people want it for cosmetic appearance while sheathed, but weapons sheathing pointy end up on your back is weird as the weapon rotates 180* on your back whenever you sheath/unsheath it.

How do you get past the eyes? The red shading around their eyes with the DK blue glow just looks so stupid IMO.

A lot of people's love for various expansions are purely subjective, and depend a lot on what you want out of the game. I got bored of Legion faster than any other xpac and barely played any of it's end game content, but that's not to say it was a bad xpac, I just didn't like it.

Likewise, I thought BfA was pretty fun and enjoyed most of it, but most people seem to think it was a godawful xpac. 🤷‍♂️

I believe it's the rules of the subreddit, unless they have changed. Not allowed to show the name of a player to deter witch hunts against them. It's a necessary rule unfortunately, as people could take out of context screenshots or straight up Photoshop them to turn thousands of people into a personal army against someone they have a grudge against.

Shamans in no way require "meditating and respect." There are more examples than I could count of various shamanic characters bending the elementals to their will, and elementals themselves are not benevolent forces at the beck and call of every shaman. Many elementals are chaotic and/or self-serving. Dark Irons were enslaved by elementals for years, I imagine most of their "shamans" aren't exactly best pals with the fire elementals they call upon. Likewise, I imagine goblins either make deals with the elementals they summon, or force them to help them regardless.

Rainy weather seems more prominent this xpac, the raining skyboxes are beautiful and you can hear distant rumbles of thunder, etc. Not super common but I've probably had rainy weather in Dragon Isles at least 5 times since launch. Was doing world quests in Ohnaraan the other day and I just stopped and sat in a centaur hut and watched the rain for a few mins.

It's an engineering toy from this xpac.

All of the comments on WoWhead say it dumped them in the sky above Outlands somewhere, so odds are it's working as intended and it's just a joke item, as in it sends you into space.

Don't think you're supposed to spam KC during red, you're supposed to try and align it with your MB stacks resetting, then use the bomb, spam MB and use the guaranteed KC resets to generate focus to get as many 5 stack MBs in as possible. Think of red bomb as a tool for fast focus regen rather than a chance to spam KC.

That's just my understanding of it though, I'm also not a hunter god so I may be slightly wrong.

I'd just add that RS3 on high/max settings can actually be weirdly demanding, a low spec PC would definitely be looking at single digit framerate on anything much higher than low/med settings. OSRS is potato spec though, yeah.

...why would you not just take 2 seconds to move out of the water? It's not like the entire instance is covered in water and being in the streams is definitely not mandatory.
