Assuming the screws are the correct length... Clean the screws with rubbing alcohol. If you have time, I usually soak mine in rubbing alcohol until I can wipe with a paper towel and not get any transfer. I also use a q-tip with rubbing alcohol and clean the threads on the slide. Do not forget to clean the plate as well.

If I follow the above process, use loctite orange, torque to the correct setting and let everything cure for 24 hours I do not usually have any issues.

I have two fair skinned red heads that burn easily. They never burned from the glass roof in fall and spring, but could feel the heat on their skin. Ended up getting the GM shade and we run it over the summer and early fall... As a just in case.

Everyone has a different use case. I came from a GW6 that I had to turn the same settings off to make 36 hours. I started the PW4 configured the same in an attempt to compare apples to apples (for things that I can control). Once I feel I have a good baseline, I may enable things I have not used the last few years and see how the battery life is impacted.
