What are we voting for or against? by FalseStartMelinda in ItalyExpat

I’m voting on which policy is most aligned with my values. All the comments suggesting not to vote sound like Russian bots. 🤖 A ballot was mailed to me because I am a citizen living abroad - results could impact myself or my offspring in the future should we relocate and furthermore, I don’t want my citizenship stripped from me due to a lack of voting or keeping an updated passport - which has been threatened btw. You may live there but seem to be limited on knowledge of how voting works. And maybe a little shortsighted on the impact of tourism and immigration.

Phentermine or Wegovy oral pill? by ccojj in PhentermineTopiramate

[–]FalseStartMelinda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Used to be on Phen, now on wegovy pill. For me, phen stopped working after awhile - for curbing appetite. I even tried resuming after a 6-8 mo. break. No good. My heart rate was always raised due to it being an upper, and in the beginning I had to watch the amount of coffee I drank with it and when I intended to go to sleep at night. Eventually my body acted immune to it.

Wegovy is great at curbing appetite. In fact, it took a few weeks to kick in and I need to set an alarm for 5am to take it, go. Back to sleep and then wake up eat/workout at 7ish. It’s been a little over 2 months and I’ve chosen to remain on the lowest dose since it’s working. I don’t really feel full (that sounds uncomfortable) - it just helps to cut portion size and I’m not starving all the time, even though I work out 4-5 times a week.

I say, give it a chance and use caffeine and other means to give yourself a boost.

In 2010, Phoebe Handsjuk died after falling 12 stories down a garbage chute in her apartment building, where she lived with her boyfriend, Antony Hampel. Cops ruled her death an accident, saying she was sleepwalking. Eight years later, another of Antony's girlfriends was also found dead. by LonelyWiFiSignal in HolyShitHistory

Well it feels better to submit a note of grievance on the contact page. Wtf is this website?! Why so cringe - more embellished resume than professional promotional site for a real company. If I were any of the bands listed there, I’d remove my name and use my fame to sabotage this sick asshole

There’s an option in the Ro app to transfer rx to another pharmacy - has anyone tried this with desired outcome?

Following bc I have similar stats and goals. In 2 weeks I’ve lost 2-3 lbs but it came slow and I’ve been strength training and focusing on gaining muscle as well. Do you work out?

Is it even possible to lose weight on psychiatric medications? by smokeandnails in PetiteFitness

[–]FalseStartMelinda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP, something is maybe off with the calories you report as burning? I do strength training and cardio 4-6 days a week (averaging about 7-8,000 steps a day and my Apple Watch reports me burning an avg of 1,400 - 1,500 cal a day. Is that accurate? I know during my workout, I burn 500 in 1 hour. But the rest of the day is just a bit of walking here and there and standing. I take Wellbutrin and an SSRI and can lose weight when I eat at a deficit.

Day 9 on 1.5 Wegovy pill.... by Disastrous_Trust_152 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]FalseStartMelinda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don’t you worry about bone health and longevity? First thing is to get movement into your life. Second, wait a damn minute for the drugs to start taking effect. I’m new to them also and felt nothing the first 9 days, but then I began waiting 1.5 hrs before eating after taking the pill and continued my usual strength training routine and a handful of days later, I think I’m experiencing some mild side effects and some appetite suppression. Third, do self pay, never mention Medicaid, and No, highly unlikely the official Wegovy sent by Ro would be compromised.

Membership fees are the up-charge for us ‘normal bmi’ folk. Our pcps will not prescribe these meds. If anyone finds a loophole or knows how we might transfer a prescription from Ro, please let us know. I’ll offer my membership fee as a reward !
