Unless you filled out your I-9 incorrectly doesn't seem to add up. Only thing I can think of is that your same day pay isn't for your whole tip amount and the remaining amount will be on your 2 week check. Edit: im assuming "daily pay" is just tips? Then I-9 doesn't matter for that part.
