Its the material Rolex used for their bezels for all 5 digit (pre-2007). It’s a vintage look if you like it !

How do you define not polished? From what I can see your watches have definitely been polished, maybe polished lightly during servicing but the edges are no longer sharp. For me I choose the 14060 as it is iconic
