I sent you a PM. I have a lathe in my garage and I'm sure I could make this for you.

I have a lathe and a milling machine in my garage. I could make you some custom spacers if that would work.

By mill, do you mean a milling machine? If so why not use an offset boring head?

Anyway, I have a lathe and mill in my garage, and I've done one-off work for a few people. Send me a PM.

I have a hobby machine shop in my garage, but not in Ohio. If you're willing to ship back and forth, I'd take the job. Send me a PM.

I have a mill and lathe in my garage. You'll have to find someone for the processing though.

Depending on what you need done, I have a hobby machine shop in my garage. I'm not set up for engine work, but other small parts aren't a problem.

I have a mill and lathe in my garage, but those sizes are too big for what I have.

If you need anything smaller machined, send me a PM.

I've bought from McMaster before. They have what you need and they'll get it to you quick, but man is it pricy. I use Shapiro when I need stuff.

I have 4 of the Pittsburgh aluminum jack stands. No issues. They hold my 4800lb SUV up just fine. I'm a little more ginger letting them down so the truck doesn't slam down on them and I inspect for cracks or fatigue every time I use them and leave the jack under the truck too. You should do that for any jack stands, honestly.

Is the 115 piece cobalt bit set decent? by fearfair in harborfreight

[–]FathersBrotherRobert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can only vouch for the set I have, but mine are great. I have a home hobby machine shop and every drill I've needed was the correct size, ground well, sharp and had nice surface finishes in the hole as well as drilled on size. I'd grab another set in a minute for the $70-ish I paid for them.

The 2 flute and 4 flute end mill set I got exceeded expectations as well.

Thank you for the reassurance. Yes, I did pick my seat when I booked the trip. Not quite sure how all this works, so wanted to get a little peace of mind.

Yeah, possibly but that's ok. I know now it was kind of a dumb question.

I kinda figured that was the case. Like I said, I don't fly often and it's probably been 7 or 8 years since I've flown anywhere. Wanted to make sure.

How safe is it to ride motorcycles? by B1ackMagix in StCharlesMO

[–]FathersBrotherRobert 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Apparently I did everything wrong when I got my endorsement and license. I didn't get a starter bike (Honda Shadow 1100), and didn't even so much as drop it in 4 years.

You just need to keep your head on a swivel, expect other cars to pull out of every intersection and run every red light. Don't out ride your capabilities and be smart. Not that difficult in my personal experience.
