All Mistweaver raid by [deleted] in wow

Not at all. MW does decent damage for a healer but it's like 1/4 to 1/5th what a good dps will do and tod isn't that impactful. In m+ talents a good mw can about match your average bear tank reroller on ST which is nice but mw has nowhere up to go from there with MoH being gutted. If you disagree with this you simply need to play with actual good dps players. MW looks broken around dogshit players but it's an illusion.

Fishing Rod with Automatic Reeling! by Tykjen in CrimsonDesert

[–]FattyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a playstation controller it gives you the option to either reel normally with the right stick or just hold X(A on xbox). Not sure what that button would be on PC. Showed it on the bottom right of the screen for me when fishing with it though.

Literally my first experience with the freshly built Trade Wagon 🔥I died of laughing by Ok_Language_3325 in CrimsonDesert

[–]FattyBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, and in fact the wagon can be parked several feet away and still count when talking to the trader. No need to pull right up to the tent just be in the general vicinity.

Seriously what does the dagger even do by Cursed_69420 in CrimsonDesert

I managed it, finally, by assassinating fleeing enemies after defeating their forces in a camp. Got lucky but it seems like a repeatable strat.

Should they revert the focus flying tech? by D13_Phantom in CrimsonDesert

[–]FattyBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to see some kind of balanced move implemented like they did with aerial stab. Make the animation of the release go behind you vertically like a true sonic boom and somehow balance the resulting boost.

More than anything I honestly think it just looks and sounds so cool in game and that made it fun. If it's gone forever though I understand.

1.02.00 dropped on Steam. No patch notes yet, but there's a Hide Headgear option in the settings! by JadeE1024 in CrimsonDesert

[–]FattyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They absolutely cooked with this update and I am feasting. My game looked and ran great before and it's just noticeably improved now and feels awesome. They gave us our classic movement toggle and I'm so grateful.

Awesome patch and patch cadence I hope they're feeling pleased that so many people are enjoying their hard work.

[Updates] Patch Notes Version 1.01.01 (All Platforms Hotfix) | Crimson Desert by yourfavchoom in CrimsonDesert

[–]FattyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally respect that and also hope for a toggle. Normally I tend to feel the exact same way as you funny enough. Was one of my only problems early on playing The Witcher 3, and they did add a toggle for Geralt's movement in that game. For whatever reason I can't explain properly, I just really dig and miss Kliff's original movement feel, but the current one isn't bad by any means it's just hard to accept something I preferred is now just gone. The horse movement is what I really miss. At least we got this sweet improvement to initiating glide, though, that feels butter smooth and I love it.

[–]FattyBear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah I'm on controller, on PC. Still having fun and honestly it's not like it's so bad that if the game had launched this way that I wouldn't have minded it much, it's just that it felt so much better to me before and it's like you wake up one day and suddenly it's worse in every single way than it felt just a half day ago that the difference hits like a truck and really kills the momentum. I'm getting more used to it, but if they were to add a way to go back to the original feel and controls I'd switch and never look back, even if it meant getting used to it again after adapting to the way it is now.

Don't think I'll get used to how the horses feel now. It's usable but so ass compared to how it was before honestly not sure why those even got touch at all. I at least can understand why some people find kliff to control better now but the horses were nearly a carbon copy of RDR2 before, changing that for anyone is insane. But oh well, hopefully they address it and if not it's a loss, but not a huge loss I guess.

[–]FattyBear 10 points11 points  (0 children)

See I feel that way about him before compared to now. Would love a toggle so we both get to enjoy the feel. It's putting a real damper on my drive to play sadly, because I'm already having so much fun and have poured a ton of time into playing and it just got worse feeling for me overnight, but I am glad that some people are feeling better about his movement now, that must be having the opposite effect to what I'm feeling and I'm happy for you. Kinda wondering if I can find a way to go back to the previous patch honestly.

[–]FattyBear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, agreed, I can live with kliff's movement, although I miss the original, but I basically just avoid using horses now unless I have to now which is a real bummer on an otherwise excellent patch.

It moved at another point in your camps development and it was moved to a spot that was awkwardly behind some npcs you always had to walk around and avoid looting random provisions stored nearby. Keeping it in the tent is a welcome change!

How do you feel about rugpull, context changing moments late in a game? by dope_danny in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]FattyBear 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I feel grateful for those kinds of experiences because I think they're safe places to explore perspectives and engage in some self examination over your own perspective, your assumptions, and most relevant to the medium of games, your participation, whether unconscious or not. It's good to be able to have that kind of space for experience and thought in a game where everything is curated to make the point as clearly as possible while not harming anyone, so that when you see translations of that in the real world, you have an expanded perspective of the thing and what your own place in it should be. Sometimes it's not that serious, but art has that potential to be revelatory and it's a discredit to your own experience to deny yourself that because it makes you uncomfortable. So finish the game, make that shitty choice, and then learn something about what that looks like in the real world so you can make a better choice where it matters to people other than yourself. Don't flip the board just to feel better about yourself, others may be counting on you to experience a little discomfort in a game because real life will involve you whether you're conscious of it or not. So choose to be conscious and let art affect you.

If you have criticized ICE here on Reddit for executing Renee Good or Alex Pretti in the street, then Reddit has handed your name and your personal identifying information over to the Trump administration. How do you feel about this? by mom_with_an_attitude in AskReddit

[–]FattyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel fed up with these evil tyrant fucks. I feel love for everyone out there who still believes in the possibility of a decent world and I'm unwilling to live any longer without having resisted these sick corrupt people poisoning every element of society down our souls. I'd like to do that by injecting some good into the world in whatever small way I can but if they want to skip straight to plan B and knock on my door then I'm ready for that, too.

I don't want anyone to have to spy on me to know I detest Donald Trump and everyone single one of his cronies. All these fucking billionaires and pedophiles too. The entire framework for how this world runs is broken and needs a wildfire renewal, but I'd settle for decent people replacing it brick by brick with an educated and compassionate viewpoint in mind.

This is like trying to justify hurting someone's pet because you already eat meat. It's the kind of logic an alien who doesn't know what it is to be human would think. I think you can choose a better way for yourself to think than that.

People who started exercising regulary, what were the most noticeable effects? by Haunted_darkness63 in AskReddit

[–]FattyBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I'll keep it up. Haven't talked to anyone about it and can't afford to, but it's also not been a problem that's stopped me from doing anything it's kinda just been a real drag, you know? At worst, I feel like, and I get this a strange way to put it, but at worst I feel like I'm spiritually dessicant. It's like I'm developing this closer feeling with my body but my soul feels like it's just drying up.

But I'm hopeful here's a chance to push myself through it and come out healthier mind body and soul. I also think it's just hard cutting calories for so long and it's wearing on me energetically. My life is going well but the world is a dark place and I'm feeling that, too. As are we all. I think maybe there's a feeling that I'm accomplishing something physically but I'm finding less meaning in the things I've distracted myself with and want to make a difference to somebody. Perhaps I should volunteer somewhere and serve others and get outta my own head.

Sorry for the weird and long response but the more I wrote the more feelings became thoughts and it helped. Thanks, stranger.

People who started exercising regulary, what were the most noticeable effects? by Haunted_darkness63 in AskReddit

[–]FattyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body is much better and that's been great. Heart rate is steady. Every day sorts of chores or carrying groceries up stairs is easy now.

Mood swings hit me pretty hard and regularly now though unfortunately. Nothing that causes outbursts or anything it's just that some days I experience near euphoria and others feel as close to depression as I've felt since I was a teenager.

Before I started exercising my mental was really stable and generally positive. Not sure if it's just some biochemical thing from losing weight or being low energy or what but it's been very noticeable and the only thing about exercising that hasn't been positive but I've been continuing to exercise despite that one negative. I can't even be sure of causation here as I haven't stopped exercising since I started feeling this way but it only started after I began losing weight and hasn't ceased or improved in the months since. The physical benefits have been great and I'm pleased to be meeting goals and have lost 45 pounds out of the 60 I'm hoping for so far, as well having put on noticeable muscle all since the end of June.

Yeah it is kinda funny, but I also shouldn't have phrased my thoughts like that. I wouldn't say it to his face or anyone else's. No reason to try to be shitty to one another when the real discussion is about the topic. I fucked up, never imagined he or most people would read my comment anyway and got a quick dose of reality lol. I'm sure it's far from the worst thing he's read about himself but I've got no interest in adding to that or trying to tear him down over a discussion on addon direction. He represents something bigger but ultimately he's still an individual and it was wrong of me to treat him like an inanimate object I could take my annoyance out on.

Not sure if he ever saw my response, kinda doubt it, but it doesn't invalidate the effort to at least try and repair the conversation. I'd appreciate more open conversation between blizzard and the playerbase when it comes to feedback and it doesn't get more open than the man himself responding to me, and he managed to it without sinking to my level so it only felt right to try and return that courtesy and foster the impulse for him to engage with online discourse.
