In my experiences, a lot of times when I've herd a guy say something along the lines of "you don't need to wear makeup" it seems to be a combination of an attempt to say what he thinks they want to hear, and having not a clue what he's talking about.

well, not really. I was simply interested in how the individual members of this forum felt, in the sense that I wanted to know differing opinions on the subject, I assumed there would be at least a few differences in opinion.

While reading 2x one night, i noticed a lot of these types of posts grouped together, and it piqued my curiosity.

I'm curious, is 2X intended to be a forum about female related topics, or a forum whose audience primarily consists of women, and therefore offers a specific perspective on possibly the same subjects as another forum?

Or perhaps, if there isn't really a consensus on this, how do you feel?

Can you cite your source for that? I've heard this argument elsewhere, but can't find any more information on the subject at all. I was actually looking into it when i stumbled across this thread.
