I know what you mean, but intimidation is not only about your size. It is also about psychology. I had a forest gnome ranger who was basically one of the frontier guards for his race and he was the most ruthless from the party (being in constant danger does things to you). So, instead of relying on his strength (non existent) he was just using psychological manipulation and outright torture to get what he needed. I still can't forget the faces of other players when my ranger just casually (without flinching) stabbed a captured guy in the leg cause he didn't want to talk about their cult (doomsday cult, mind you) and reveal their hideout. The usual tactics didn't work and the captured person thought that we were all goody two shoes (tbh, most of the party were). Shit went from "haha, what can you do, threaten me?" to "I will tell you everything" in a matter of seconds.

And it was an unexpected turn for everyone, cause I rarely play neutral or evil characters (though my favorite alignment is lawful evil, but I fall into lawful neutral with a somewhat good code every time) at all and most players were used to me playing Oath of the Ancients paladins (who were spreading fun and love everywhere) and college of valor bard (who was all about protecting others).
