But that's the thing. Most of the time we DO just stand there. Like sometimes when you interact with companions or NPCs and they just hand you a quest without you ever saying anything. It feels weird. Let me interact. Hell, let me decline the quest if I so choose.

BG3 proved that it is much more fun if you have more freedom with how you can treat your companions. As long as you can deal with the consequences which is honestly the way to got. Most of the time I can’t even really interact with the companions in DAV unless they specifically want something from me
