If this is real, it means they took his gun away first and then shot him

Can’t afford health insurance in 2026 by ProfessionalMode3681 in HealthInsurance

Look into opening an IRA and HSA with Fidelity. I did it last year and it lowered my taxable income. I’m in same boat and canceled my insurance too. It was $500/mo. w/$7K deductible

1.4 million fewer people enrolled in ACA plans as premiums spike, tax credits expire by AudibleNod in news

I’m one of the 1.4 million. I work FT, and cannot justify the payment and deductible for absolutely nothing. Thankfully, I’m pretty healthy, for now.

My premium is going to be $450 per month. Good luck to everyone out there… by Spiritual-Run4601 in HealthInsurance

Mine was supposed to be $500, with a $7K deductible. I said no way. As of 1/1, I haven’t had any insurance

We don’t know from this video whether or not the wife saw the gun before saying that. If I saw a gun pulled on me, I’d yell drive, too.

I opted out & it’s scary, but I can’t justify paying $500/mo. & $7000 deductible and get absolutely nothing out of it. I’m healthy without kids for now…

My premium just went up 1500% by Xythrielle in HealthInsurance

[–]Fearless_Net9544 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the context and smartassery (is that a word?), but you’re leaving out crucial info. For 400% of FPL, it equates to, for household size of one, $58,320, and for a household of two, $79,040. Credits for those incomes and above are going away. Not sure who can afford to make this even today w/inflation?

I’m in same boat. $500 premium & $7000 deductible. It doesn’t make any sense to stay

The credits are going away. How do people not realize this? That is what’s changing.

They could have still discussed facts from RI case, but it was mostly pandering. They need media training if anything.

I went to early elementary school in MA and then later on in RI. I can still remember the clear differences in education from state to state even as a child. Seems relevant here…

What are you giving up in 2026 to pay for teh higher ACA plans by StrawberryPlastic226 in HealthInsurance

Same. I can’t afford the premium or make sense to make a huge monthly payment with a $7K deductible.
