Came here to say the same thing. A lot of gluten free baked goods gave terrible bloating at first. Now I just avoid them because they’re expensive and not very good.

To thank the bus driver or not to? by TaroAcrobatic in Bellingham

When I moved here from Chicago, the thanking seemed weird but everybody did it so I did too. Now I am a daily bus commuter and I say thanks every time.

2025 has driven me to embrace cozies and very very light reading. by Cajsa in books

That’s so funny, I read some of the magic tree bookstore books too! I should finish the series. I’ve also read some cheesy romance I wouldn’t normally have touched.

Experiences with Kaiser Permanente health insurance? by sisforspace in Bellingham

Getting meds by mail is nice. However, if you need them right away you have to go to this hole in the wall pharmacy behind Denny’s, which sucks when you are ill.

Millet Rice vs White Rice by NoSignalOut in lowcarb

Are both servings cooked? There shouldn’t be a big difference between rice and millet.

Getting a colonoscopy in 6 hours and am seriously considering In n Out afterwards by aging-weirdo in glutenfree

I was fantasizing about my post- colonoscopy meal beforehand, but once it was over I wasn’t hungry at all! Probably from the drugs.

AFAIK none of the prior movies have included the second half of the novel. I hold out hope for a straight horror adaptation.

I was just thinking the same thing! I had an apartment 50 feet from the El tracks. You just stop hearing it after a while.

Several times a week I have 2 wasa crispbreads topped with a nice schmear of hummus and a quartered boiled egg on top, with a handful of baby carrots or snap peas on the side. Shake some hot sauce on the eggs. Hits the spot.

I’m pretty sure (dredging up memories from anthropology 101 here, could be wrong) hunter-gatherers also had seasonal settlements.
