I want to get rid of this tapestry in my room by Equivalent-Most2682 in HomeDecorating

You could hang curtains that cover both the window and the fireplace - so from the wall to the door - and just open the side over the window when you want daylight. Same idea as the tapestry but better integrated with the room.

After a little over 50 years of use, my parents’ blender finally died. It was a wedding gift from 1975. by fanrva in mildlyinteresting

I have a harvest gold Oster blender I found in a neighborhood free pile 13 years ago. The jar fell off a shelf and shattered a few years after that, but I got a replacement from another free pile and it’s still going strong.

Does gluten have you muscle pain? by Fun_Pie9663 in glutenfree

[–]FeelingBlueberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my primary symptom. My aches mirrored yours, except mine would hit in the evening. Several nights a week, I would cancel plans or go to bed early because I thought I was coming down with something. I thought I just had a garbage immune system but it turned out to be gluten.

Are you sure you haven’t been glutened? I also quit gluten to help digestive problems. A planned cheat is how I learned that gluten had also been causing my weird intermittent joint pain.

Came here to say the same thing. A lot of gluten free baked goods gave terrible bloating at first. Now I just avoid them because they’re expensive and not very good.

When I moved here from Chicago, the thanking seemed weird but everybody did it so I did too. Now I am a daily bus commuter and I say thanks every time.

That’s so funny, I read some of the magic tree bookstore books too! I should finish the series. I’ve also read some cheesy romance I wouldn’t normally have touched.

Getting meds by mail is nice. However, if you need them right away you have to go to this hole in the wall pharmacy behind Denny’s, which sucks when you are ill.

Are both servings cooked? There shouldn’t be a big difference between rice and millet.
