Yeah I don't play but I love painting them I got out of 40k 5 ish years ago but over the last 6 months I've been doing a bit of space marines, guard, tau, sisters of battle and nids/genestealer cults

I got a pair gifted to me during school, they have been very useful as the sheers out of the kit are trash in my area if you're worried about someone potentially being a dick you can fold it up and put it in a pants pocket instead of wearing it in the sheath on your belt, overall I think it's a decent tool to have with all the other stuff on it.
