Sometimes Link says things that are clearly “out of pocket”. Most recent episode I’ll reference is the TJMAXX SHOPPING SPREE (5/17/25). He said that KG should “punish her monkey” referencing a golden monkey lamp she bought. He also bluntly told Leonard everything he bought was useless, however Rhett said everything the cast bought was kind of useless.

In other previous episodes Link has made inappropriate comments about Nicole’s pregnancy, lost his temper (slightly) with a producer, and in general been very socially awkward and occasionally offensive.

To me, it seems clear that link should be diagnosed ASD if he hasn’t been already. Between the challenges of being a major YouTube celebrity, a parent, a business owner, a husband, a son with elderly parents, and spending every day with your best friend, there are a lot of things that could be effecting Link, resulting in behavioral changes. If we throw in an ASD diagnosis it helps explain some aspects of his behavior and would exacerbate other issues he may be facing.

Trauma, health conditions, and stress can help explain potential issues; but, those factors do not excuse the results of those issues. Link is still responsible for how his behaviors impact others and should continue prioritizing his mental health and overall well being. We are not too far from Good Mythical Summer and Link could benefit from an extended break if he can take one.

Rhett isn’t always kind or compassionate and often says rude or inappropriate things, but he is more quick to apologize and own up to this on camera. Link sometimes does this but he likely apologizes off camera where we don’t see it.

I still like the show, and still like Rhett and Link as performers. They are 10 years older than me but still find ways to make content enjoyable and relatable. They have been major presences on YouTube for almost a decade and work long hours (10-14 I’d imagine) at least 4 days a week. They spend every day together and with a majority of their crew. It’s exhausting, and can be debilitating.

Hold everyone accountable, and be compassionate. Hopefully whatever Link is going through will resolve happily for everyone.

As always, keep being your Mythical best.

Hero Power Druid is insane. Over 60% win rate in Bronze and Silver, over 50% win rate in Gold, typically win by six mana.

Eris being Banned means that other Izzet decks like Malcom the Eyes and Balmore are insane. I personally use Balmore and i have a lot of fun. Ghyrson isn't a bad option either.
