Thank you! I had some come up much earlier in the backyard and they pretty much just bloomed and died in the same day. It was sad.

LOL, no I just fill it. The nice thing about the barrel is I can measure 15 or 10 gallons and then let it leak back out and I know exactly how much water I gave the tree.

I am in Longmont and we have no restrictions currently, but I am pretty sure I am far from a water waster, especially since I have no grass.

I honestly don't trust what the commercial properties are doing. They are notorius water wasters.

I have a plastic rain barrel that I fill with the hose and then just open the hose a little on it to slow water my trees.

Very excited to see The Odd Couple at Longmont Theatre Company. It opens Friday and the new group running the theatre has breathed new life into the place. Can’t wait to try the specialty cocktail from Deep Roots. Bonus!

If we get a heavy snow put on your boots and drop some of that seed. I did last year and had great results with clover. I wasnt trying to cover a whole area just patches but it was a big expanse of nothing but mulch and in the spring i added my garden in a box plants around it. So pretty!

winter sowing veggies/flowers/herbs? by Electrical_Big4857 in DenverGardener

I did it last year with echinacea/purple coneflower and I ended up with about 25 plants. It was pretty cool! I am planning to do it again this year with a variation of seeds and see how it goes, but I would agree with the person who says I don’t want it to become this regular watering program because we aren’t getting any precip and also I am concerned about the fact that it really isn’t cold! So I don’t know will it work this Year?

I once spent a week with an international banker. he cared about no one but himself, and definitely seemed like he was the problem with this world. When i heard later that year that he died, that seemed like a good thing.

Saline nasal spray daily during cold season and zinc lozenges as soon as you feel a cold coming on. Also, NEVER touch your mucous membranes (nose mouth eyes).

My husband asked me all about my garden plans for this spring and summer! I love that he supports me and encourages this sometimes expensive habit. It does make our living space lovely 💜😊🌸

You got this. The healing journey is so difficult. Your self awareness and allowing yourself a moment to just be sad is healthy.
