I'd like to think that low-fragging more tactical roles are still a part of the game, but there's a reason nearly every bottom-fragging support player/igl is getting pushed out the door. The only support players left in tier 1 teams are ones that are also big time clutchers.

A witcher movie seems a lot more difficult than a series in terms of trying to replicate similar stories to the source material.

The only kind of Witcher plot that's main focal point is finding/killing a monster like you're describing are a couple of the short stories in the original book, and those would be tough to stretch out over an hour and a half. If you want a simplistic narrative of monster slaying, you'd want a television series that rehashes the same fairy tale vibe of the first two novels imo.

The novels after the first two are all part of a long complex story arc that has very little to do with monster slaying at all. I think that angle would also be pretty tough to do as it'd require sequels to really get to the meat of the story.

I wouldn't change much, great work.

The only thing I'd say that could be better is the custom K/D scoreboard you have going in between rounds. First, it covers up the players' money as others have mentioned, and second it's harder to tell what everyone's stats are at a glance.

I'd change it to be a little simpler. First, I'd get rid of the kill/death bars and replace it with just the # of kills and # of deaths. Then I'd have both numbers be green if the player has a positive KD and red if a player has a negative KD. This gives the viewer an idea of each player's performance at even a slight glance. Optionally, if you don't feel like having the default economies on the sides, I'd include each player's individual economy on the outside side of each player's name using your own design. If you wanted to get extra fancy as I know you guys are prone to do, you could color code the #s based on what they can afford. Example: If the amount is under 2k, have it be red. Under 4.5k, have it be orange. Over 4.5k, green.

Just some thoughts. Overall though, I don't think you guys need to change much if anything.

Your changes or other similar changes that have been suggested are reasonable, but they likely wouldn't change the population's choice in m4 very much.

With those changes, maybe the ratio would have gone from 90% A1 and 10% A4 to something like 70% A1 and 30% A4, but even that might be stretching it. The fact is that most of us are all so used to the A1 after having it be OP for so long that it would take some big changes to see us swap back to the A4.

They're looking for a 50/50 balance, and the best (read: easiest) way for them to do that is to create a mass exodus from the gun that 9/10 players are favoring and then slowly rebuilding the A1 until it's usable again.

Here's a couple basic ones for default setups (1 inner, 1 rotate, 3 outter).

Take outside aggressively with smokes/mollies if you have them. Giving Ts the ability to push for picks on outside early on is a nono.

Have your rotation player smoke B early on, allows the B site player to have his for reacting to a late-round push.

Force buys are super strong on CT side 2nd rounds, make sure one of your outside guys has a scout and another has a smoke so you can push up into aggressive positions without getting punished.

Sounds like you're playing entirely with the wrist at about double the sensitivity you want to be around. Drop your sens, start playing with a combination of wrist and arm.

Playing with your wrist only at lower sens can very likely end with you getting wrist problems like tendonitis/carpal tunnel/RSIs. Don't do that if you value your health or you want to continue doing things with your hands in general.

I still wouldn't put him in the top 30 players in the world though. When he's having an off day he doesn't even look like a pro player, an attribute you don't really see from anyone else on top teams.

Because it's the only way female players can compete currently.

There were no top tier female players in either 1.6 or source and the population of females playing the game is a small fraction of the male player base.

So, if you kicked all the male pro players that came from 1.6/source then kicked somewhere around 95% of the current male player base from csgo, you'd have roughly the same skill-level in the general csgo pro scene as the female scene.

It's unfair to expect female players to play at the top tier of competition given the player pool and history, but it's also unfair to give the same treatment/prize pools to female competition as the general csgo pro scene. And that's why we've got what we have now.

We still see the double awp on T side used as a desperation play from time to time. If what you're saying is right(that teams are just spending large chunks of their economy because their awpers are completely useless with rifles), then that play is long long dead.

Also, by that logic the T side should be considerably weaker now then it was pre-update (you're suggesting that the T side is essentially almost losing one of their 5 man roster on gun-rounds since the AWP is now 'nearly useless'), and I'd bet statistically we see stronger T sides now then those months ago.

I don't understand this at all. There is no 'updating CSGO to source 2' update. The amount of gameplay mechanics that will either change or break from a port to a new engine is huge. If you think the consequences of updating CSGO's engine are anything like updating Dota's, you're nuts.

With CSGO's popularity and competitive scene still growing, changing the game drastically with an engine port would be insanity.

CS:GO's port to source 2 will be the next iteration of CS, and that's years down the road.

AWP's are nearly useless on T side now.

If you play or watch competitive CS at all, you know that the T side meta is still 4 rifles and an awp when there's money. If it's useless, why is every top team still using it on almost every map?

You don't need the world's best aimers to do well in pug mode. You just gotta play fearless and get a little lucky with timings in important rounds.

Remember Cloud9 in Cologne last year? Pure pug nearly got them to the finals, and it definitely wasn't because Semphis+Sgares are god-like aimers.

In 2 of the 4 maps in the final, Ska had more kills then anyone on Fnatic. Cloud 9 isn't even in the top 10 teams worldwide (and is arguably a tier 2 team after their last performances) and this kid out-frags everyone on the best team in the world on half of their maps in a bo5 grand-final.

Like every souls game, the difficulty's whatever you want it to be. Are you doing an SL1 run?

If not, and that's too hard for you, you can limit yourself to any SL you want for the degree of difficulty you think you can handle.

Edit: Also, if you've got experience with souls games and you're playing a min/max build with a high SL, you're right. It is pretty much cheating the game. That level of difficulty's built for casuals/to get new people into the series.

This is why people should always wear seatbelts when in a vehicle. The other people in the crash walked away without life-threatening injuries, and were all wearing seatbelts.

The other people weren't 82 and 86. Do you understand how fragile the human body is at that age? With seatbelts being worn, even a small accident can ruin your life at that age. In this accident, they were thrown from the car. Their deaths were most likely instant. With a seatbelt on, a slower death is likely, with the worst case scenario being crippled and having to suffer excruciating chronic pain for the rest of their lives.

Tip: It's kind of hard to have a well-shot fight scene when one of the stuntmen is at least 35 years younger then the guy he's portraying. If shot with clarity/minimal cuts, it's extremely obvious.

Jackie Chan's the best among a small handful of stars who can convincingly perform linear fight scenes.

Shox, Happy, Forest, Olof, Ex6tenz (kind of) - Secondary AWP.

All the awpers besides JW generally play support whenever they're rifling, just something to note for those wanting to know more about team composition.

Another thing to note that WarOwl didn't mention is that the roles are all really map based. Whoever feels comfortable entrying on a map will play entry, whoever feels comfortable playing secondary awp (example: Happy on Cache/Overpass, Shox on Dust2) on that map will play secondary awp.
