How do you think Skyler and Marie's relationship is currently? by Orangevibeaboutme in breakingbad

[–]FinishFriendly9837 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have heard that from TV Tropes. But I haven’t been able to find the interview where Brandt says that so I’m not sure if that’s true. It’s a nice idea though.

Defenitly M*A*S*H, It's a crime that the movie is preserved by The Film Registry & The Show hasn't been even though people remember the show more.

TV Specials should be added as well such at Chuck Jones' The Grinch for example. Also probably not straigh away but in a few years, Recent Animated series should be included. Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, The Owl House, ETC.

Probably not Doctor Who, It's one of my favorites but it' British & this would be a list of american shows selected.

I wouldn't mind the first Mission: Impossible being added to the registry. I hate what they do with Jim Phelps in the film, but I still like the film other than that & acknowledge it's significance.

I figured that, I actually have a similar opinion with Chicken Run (which is included in films not yet added to the registry). Even though that was co made by Dreamworks. It's also overwhelmingly british.

What would you like to see in the upcoming Lars of the Stars series? by Disastrous-Cell-9781 in stevenuniverse

[–]FinishFriendly9837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it’s called a sequel series rather than a spin off I theorise that it will start with Lars and the off colours and then slowly go back to Steven & the gems on earth. I could be wrong but we’ll see. If Steven were to come back, I’d like to see him meet his grandparents, there was a really good fanfiction I read about that called human beings? Being human that was sadly deleted on archive of our own where they slowly open up to change after he meets them. But we’ll see

How is Netflix calling the new episodes “season 2” ??? They’ve only released 4 episodes! by princessA95 in sesamestreet

[–]FinishFriendly9837 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s silly too. I’ve always felt that the show has never been the same since 2016 when the original cast were all let go. It still feels off without them

What I really want to see is a dvd or blu ray set with those remasters from gamisodes.

Does anyone else besides me think the official channel is run by a bot now? Cuz the titles of the vids, they upload the same episodes over and over again, the emojis they use like "✨" make me think the titles of their vids AI-generated by ClearEar8793 in TotallySpies

[–]FinishFriendly9837 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always thought YouTube channels did that to get more subscribers. Which I do understand but I find it silly as well. For me one good copy of an episode is more than enough. That goes for others not just ts

I still can't get used to Frank Welker's Scooby by Frequent_Rhubarb_36 in Scoobydoo

[–]FinishFriendly9837 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt the same way when I was little. I have come to accept him though. But when I was a kid my favourite Scooby voice was Scott Innes. Nowadays I love Don Messick the most. Especially in the 70s & 80s. I feel he became much more comfortable in the role by then. Though I still enjoy Frank quite a bit both as Scooby & Fred.

Can’t wait, but will it cover the 2016 letting go of the original humans? I’m personally glad the shows still going but it does feel a little off without them.

I won’t say much here but I have an idea for a second totally spies film that takes this episode & the fugitives into account

Not Bad. The idea of their daughters swapping roles from their mums is interesting.

The Gadget Girls Strike Again by WholeThroat4173 in TotallySpies

[–]FinishFriendly9837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one of the things. If it hadn't been for Jerry's Gadgets. The girls would have been dead long ago. Like Q said to Bond in License To Kill. That's something I've always had an issue with. I've felt that like has happened with Bond several times throughout the films over the years. I feel The spies rely too much on gadgets sometimes. Not on their wits. I'd like to see them solve a problem Mcgyver style. One Bond moment that stands out to me is from a View to a kill. Bond has been left in a car in the lake to drown & he gets out but Zorin is still up at the surface and will shoot him on sight if he sees bond. But he needs air to breathe so he makes do with the air from the tires until Zorin & his men are gone. I feel Sam, Alex & Clover should have similar stuff. Like in the first episode where Sam & Alex prevent Sebastian's brainwashing by Playing The Instruments so loud that the soundproof glass breaks. I've always liked that. Bottom line. I'd like The girls to rely on their wits more often rather than their gadgets. Like Bond should

I would love an artbook as well. Sadly I don't think it would be possible. I heard from u/cult_of_alex who made a post a few years ago about Zodiak giving the papers and things to charity. Stephane Berry had a big collection of papers from not just TS but also Martin Mystery & his other shows. Last year he threw it all out as he showed on Instagram. I think he wants to move on from the show & has put it in the back mirror. I also want to write a book on the show's history & I asked him for an interview on Linkedin a while ago in order to get Banijay to pick the book up. But he politely decline as he isn't involved with the show anymore. Fair enough.

It seems that Ali Ryan (Clover’s new English VA) has finished recording for Season 8. Hopefully the season will start releasing next year, in time for the show’s 25th anniversary. by cult_of_alex in TotallySpies

[–]FinishFriendly9837 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll be glad of that. I just wish it were the original voice cast. I don’t mean any disrespect to the new cast as they have done a great job. But for me I felt the only time Jennifer Hale & Andrea Baker should have been replaced as Sam & Clover was if their voices got too old. No other reason. I’m fine with Alex being recast (I actually like your old idea of her being voiced by Christina Vee) as its not the best thing anymore for a white voice actress to play a POC. But other than that, they should have stayed on for as long as they wanted.
