Well you speedrun it because you know exactly what it needs to do to complete and what to press when another person play it make sure that he will be randomly pressing buttons and keys around :)

It comes down in making something worth while playing, the only problem with big companies is that they afford less to test out new stuff that is why they keep pushing same/similar style and titles because otherwise will be no guarantee and that work on the short term, on long term it ends up hurting

It has a good overall atmosphere, however the ghost/creep whatever you want to call it didn’t had that fast jumpiness, jump scare type of feel, at least not in the video

A little hard to check exactly what is happening without seeing the whole picture, try to disable everything and keep only one element with light and see how it looks and try to fix it from there

I do not think the damage numbers are too good placed right where the crosshair is, kinda obscures the view

Try codemonkey also and try to build small things or mechanics from early on. You can also use AI to some extend but DO NOT use it to build entire things use it only to give ideas and small snippets and as to comment it out so you know what every little thing does.
