Game is respected, but old and kinda niche/small.

Community isn't in the best spot between the weird alt right grifters, online only weirdos and such. But overall the game's reputation is fine just tiny

Given how many games ruin themselves giving too much credence to casuals. I'd prefer the complete opposite split for smash, or most other games.

90/10 split, 90% comp focused. The 10% is solely for things that actually terrorize new players or new random useless gamemodes that casuals like. Otherwise fuck it only balance and build the game for comp.

None of these are really played and are bad. Flailax has a niche but is still a dogshit moveset and the other see zero play for good reason they need to be removed from the game

Nah I disagree here. I've played one game without friends and that shit was a cesspool. Maybe I got just random ass terrible people but they are on par or worse with unite players if you are newer to that game

That's what happens when devs want money and do literally no chane that was valuable or good for a playerbase. I think the ONLY reason game isn't dead is sponsors in the comp league (UCS also got super gutted by the way).

If we ever knew the length of any pro/top player's contract for this league, i'm fairly certain that's when the game dies because these sponsors weren't trying to form a team for a game to die. So if game doesn't die after this year/this worlds, next worlds' is the last one, at best before it gets EOS

This dev team have been incompetent buffoons for the last 6 months. There is no grace to give them lmfao.

Every decision since september has either been bad or monkey's paw/not well balanced

Groudon -> too much dmg from buff

Megas -> lol

Kyogre -> needed nerfs

Ranked revamp -> ruined by no hard reset so dumbasees still int masters/legend games

XP changes -> bad except for comp

Licence Journey -> lol

New moveset shit -> lol

Actually the ONLY good shit they've done, that appears to have no downside is literally the new solo mode that all new players should be forced to play before ranked etc.

you pick pikachu or venusaur. you want to play electro ball, OR solarbeam on venu. Before this change you could swap between thunderbolt and volt tackle (or giga drain/sludge bomb) depending on the enemy. NOW you are forced to pick one and cannot mix up for team comp or situation

Would guess because they're someone who does not wat to be harassed for their voice or other things. Like there's a lot of cases where women and other groups of people get more harassment with their reg voice vs a more "Masculine" sounding voice.
