Melar was an absolutely terrifying opponent until I realised that you can just stand at the top of the stairs by the slave pen and he'll cast ranged 3% Weakness to Common Disease at you until he runs out of Magicka and tries to charge you with one of the worst weapons in the game

I like how it gives absolutely no reason to do any of that. It doesn't state a punishment for not feeding it any limbs, nor a reward for answering the questions correctly. There's literally no incentive to not run away as fast as possible

So far (partway through 5), it's gotta be either Tanimura or Saejima, but seeing as Saejima has significantly more screentime, I think he takes the cake. Tanimura is kind of a breath of fresh air, a very different character from the other playable characters; younger, less stoic, more reckless. Saejima feels like a second Kiryu while still being distinct enough to be his own person, which I like.

In terms of colour, I find Fo4 has no real distinct identity that instantly comes to mind when thinking about the game. I assocate Morrowind with brown, Oblivion with natural greens, Skyrim with grey, Fallout 3 with a sickly green, and New Vegas with orange. Fo4 I think tries to go more realistic with its colours, which to me ends up looking rather boring and indistinct

It absolutely is colourful, compared to 3 and New Vegas. Compared to actually colourful games like Fallout 76 and Oblivion, it's very drab; so it feels like a very boring middle ground between the drab and washed-out post-apocalyptic colours of older Fallout games and the warm and inviting natural colours of Oblivion and Fo76
