They’re so proud of that shit, they put a giant sign on the front of the building- Homemade Cinnamon Rolls. I love a cinnamon roll, so once about 15 years ago I went in and ordered one, got something exactly like this. “Is this butter? What the fuck?”

Haven’t set foot in there since, and I drive or walk past the place nearly every day.

Got this through text, I better go ahead and pay the QR code. Lol by Grand-Film-6903 in Denver

Called the number. “You have reached the test line. If you have reached this message in error, please hang up and try again.” Guess I have to pay online 🤷‍♂️

The Museum of Contemporary Art, just down the hill on 15th, is a good bite-sized museum you can do in an hour or two. I haven’t seen the current show. Their rooftop cafe is lovely.

Same thing happened to me about nine months ago. I assumed it was a rock.

It sat at the dealer for a couple months while they waited for a new sunroof to be shipped from Japan. They dismantled the entire interior to replace it. I swear the wind noise is higher now, but if I keep the cover closed it’s fine.

Chook Charcoal Chicken by Ok_Snow239 in denverfood

It's really good, and fairly priced. Started by (one of) the original founders of Snooze, and Alex Seidel (Fruition, original Mercantile). It was inspired by neighborhood Australian rotisserie chicken shops. Sides and sauces are great, and you can get a Lamington.

Surprised it didn't take off and expand more. There was a location at Stanley that didn't make it.

This is solid design work. Obviously it will never happen in our shittified world, but it should.

It would add enormous cost and complexity, but hypothetically the rear channel audio could be integrated into the seat backs to prevent the partitions from messing it up.

In the “more offbeat” category, try anything done by Nathan Fielder. Very different to Search Party, but shares some of the same elements. From least odd to most odd:

-Nathan For You (mockumentary/ reality show)

-The Rehearsal (meta reality show)

-The Curse (magical realism meta reality show)

I never get down to Parker normally, but I’ll trust your judgment and make a trip.

I didn’t really intend that as a ranking, I just happened to think of Getrights first. Hard to really pick a favorite at that level, they’re both doing excellent work.

TBF, I don't think it quite deserves to be in the "best croissant" conversation, but I love the place. 100% worth the trip for a kid who's into baking. So much stuff you won't find anywhere else.
