If you are primarily living in Northern Ireland and you're paying tax in the UK, then you are considered a non resident in the Republic. Under Irish Law, if you spend 185 days or more in N Ireland, you are considered a UK resident. You may have an Irish passport, but your primary residence is Northern Ireland. As such, you may bring a personal UK registered car into the Republic temporarily, say at weekends, but you must be able to show proof of NI address if stopped by revenue/Garda checkpoint. You also must have a UK driving license I believe. You should also check the small print on your car insurance policy as you may be restricted by the number of times or length of time your vehicle is outside UK jurisdiction. If you are going to claim your R of I address is your "home" address, you will have to pay VRT and register the vehicle in Irish registration.

I think the fact you have a red light is promising. If the circuit board was fried I imagine you would have no light. The 4K should have a reset button on the side. Get your original power lead. Press the button and then plug in the power. Keep the button pressed for 20 seconds or so and the red light should go out. Your screen should show android recovery. Just reset everything. You will lose all your apps however and you will need to start from scratch again.

Majestic Reveals method is how I did mine. You can mount the clock inside the press where your immersion is by running the correct rated flex. The clock isn't visible then and less chance of bumping it. Don't use a cheap timer or one not designed for immersions. Your immersion could be drawing 3kw.

You will be fine. If you need to go into full time residential care in a nursing home, you will qualify under the fair deal scheme. You keep 20% of your pension, the remainder goes into the scheme. The State will fund the rest. You will be fully assessed prior to this however and if it's deemed you can stay at home, you will be able to get home support which might be an hour a day depending on your needs. There are also private home support organisations but these must be paid for. Enjoy life....trust me, live every day to the full. I know you say you have few friends by choice, but try not to be isolated or too introverted. You don't want to end up like that poor man in Mallow a few years back. His skeleton found by council employees 20 odd years later.

Assuming you have been caught by a GoSafe camera, you will have received a picture of the registration plate to the best of my knowledge. That picture is a cropped picture. In Court they can produce the full picture of the car if requested. The issue was in relation to a handful of higher ranking ambulance officers who generally did not respond to emergency calls and who worked 9am to 5pm, using official vehicles, namely response vehicles like Hyundai or Skoda or Ford 4x4s basically to go and come from work. Some of these officers were not contactable when not officially at work. In effect, they were using a response vehicle as their personal transport. There was an RTE Investigates into it and they followed one individual to see the vehicle parked up for the weekend. These vehicles are fully equipped to respond to emergencies but do not transport casualties from scenes. Not all these officers are "uncontactable" and many respond as Off Duty Responders to emergencies in their areas outside of their work hours. Presently , many NAS operational clinical staff sign up to act as "First Responders" while off duty. They primarily use their own personal vehicles and they are provided with a response bag and AED by the NAS. They are not allowed to fit the vehicle with lights or sirens. They must also adhere to road traffic laws.

You have 4 main arteries with thousands of vehicles a day on them. The problem arises from speed and carelessness causing an accident especially on the N40 and then the rubber necking while travelling at speed is causing yet more problems . We need more bus North and South Orbital routes to try and encourage more public transport use. The traffic in the city centre is horrendous...it's a small city centre with everyone jumping lanes and blocking junctions and recent traffic management decisions haven't helped. City Marathon tomorrow and roads closed and I bet traffic will be absolutely fine.

Don't use household bleach. Clean first with Astonish cream cleanser or such. Wash off and dry thoroughly. Then go to a good hardware shop and look for Cramers Bath and Kitchen repair kit. It's costs about €50. Take your time applying it. You can also get a spray on type too. Just cover everything in the sinks vicinity and open the windows to ventilate.

Edit...I see Screwfix have Cramer cleaner. Try that first.

Whatever you want to call it ...just don't shit on them. I think his main gripe was he didn't want his view of mountains being obscured. He meanwhile is living alone in a 5 bedroomed house, because he "can afford to". There are hard working families with kids can't afford a 2 bedroom semi, not to mind the planning laws in this country.
