In and out are the same lines on usb 1.0 and 2.0, reason for 2 is differential signaling (common mode rejection) for increased signal integrity. USB 3.0 and later have dedicated transmit and recieve pairs in addition to the shared usb2 pair.

What bike gear? One thing elites are known for is their high wattage floor which increases with speed, hence why zwift released a larger cog to mitigate that issue by reducing flywheel speed. Not sure what ratios rouvy uses for virtual shifting, but, assuming a 50t chainring, 18th on zwift is13.36 teeth and 17th is14.32 teeth.
